¡Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive y Street Workout! Espero que todos estén muy bien, chicos. Hoy compartiré con ustedes una publicación muy diferente a lo habitual. El día de ayer tomé la decisión de grabar y tomar fotografías por el centro de mi ciudad haciendo calistenia. Esto es algo que llevaba planeado desde hace semanas; sin embargo, me había restringido por miedo. Como tenía planeado realizar la parada de manos junto con unas flexiones, ya las volví a dominar luego de tanto tiempo por falta de rendimiento.
Warm greetings to the whole Hive and Street Workout community! I hope everyone is doing great, guys. Today I will share with you a very different post than usual. Yesterday I made the decision to shoot and take pictures around my city centre doing calisthenics. This is something I had been planning for weeks; however, I had restrained myself out of fear. As I had planned to do the handstand along with some push-ups, I mastered them again after such a long time due to lack of performance.
Como verán para aquellos que conocen la ciudad de Maracay, hay varias plazas. Yo estuve en la plaza bicentenaria y Girardot. Dos plazas en las que se encuentra una multitud de gente, sea hablando, sentada o esperando autobús para irse al trabajo, en su defecto, a sus hogares. Esta iniciativa que estaba en mi mente se volvió realidad, a pesar de no tener dominado aún los estáticos que llaman más la atención, front lever y plancha. Estoy muy enfocado para lograr avanzar en los estáticos más complejos del Street Workout. Realizar la parada de manos en los lugares públicos no es algo que cualquiera se atreve.
As you can see for those who know the city of Maracay, there are several squares. I was in the Plaza Bicentenaria and Girardot. Two squares where you find a crowd of people, either talking, sitting or waiting for a bus to go to work or, failing that, to their homes. This initiative that was in my mind became a reality, despite the fact that I have not yet mastered the most attention-grabbing statics, front lever and plancha. I am very focused on making progress on the more complex Street Workout statics. Performing the handstand in public places is not something that everyone dares to do.
En lo personal, quiero hacer más elementos, para lograr captar la atención de la gente para que puedan conocer más este deporte, con el fin de hacerlo conocer más en mi país. Es bueno salir de mi zona de confort y poner en práctica las habilidades que uno tiene en este deporte. Recordemos que la calistenia se puede hacer en todos lados, solo tienes que tener la iniciativa para hacerlo. ¿Qué te ha parecido la publicación? Los leo en los comentarios.
Personally, I want to do more elements, to get people's attention so that they can learn more about this sport, in order to make it better known in my country. It's good to get out of my comfort zone and put into practice the skills I have in this sport. Let's remember that calisthenics can be done everywhere, you just have to have the initiative to do it.
