Hello rally fans :)!
The start of a new rally season is always filled with excitement, and there’s no better way to kick things off than with the legendary Rallye Monte Carlo. Known for the unpredictable conditions, breathtaking mountain stages, and iconic status as the season opener, Monte Carlo never disappoints and this year will be no exception.
As a HUGE rally fan, watching the cars drive those narrow roads with black and regular ice and dramatic changes in leaderboards is always a mix of admiration, a bit of jealous nad of course tension! The precision required to navigate these challenging stages is truly unmatched (and no to you smartasses who think it’s easy it’s fkn not so pipe down okay :)? Leave the rally commentary to us who actually follow, understand and love it. Many thanks!). One mistake, and a driver’s weekend could come to an abrupt end. There’s MILLIONS of small things that if you’ve never driven or co-diven you don’t know that matter so incredibly much (cough smartasses cough).

This rally is famous for testing drivers and their teams to their limits, with the unique conditions forcing constant adjustments in strategy. Tire choices are often a gamble here, and drivers frequently face mixed surfaces, where one side of the road is dry while the other is covered in snow or ice. The most commented thing on the rally is the tyre choice, so yeah it’s NOT EASY!!! It’s no wonder Monte Carlo has a reputation as the trickiest rally.
It’s clear that the competition in the 2025 WRC season is going to be strong af. With new teams and driver lineups, as well as some exciting changes in car technology, the atmosphere around the rally was spectacular with an anticipation for what lies ahead.
The photos I’m sharing with you in this post showcase some of the action from Slaven and beauty of Rallye Monte Carlo. While I wasn’t able to attend, seeing the passion and skill of everyone involved, even through pictures, makes me feel like I’m part of the experience.
