RE: Twelve Days of Christmas and all that Jazz

12 days of Christmas, because there is no way just 1 day will be enough!

I heard the partridge is roasting in a crockpot somewhere. It all started when Aunt Mary received three crockpots for Christmas, which changed the words for the twelve days of Christmas forever in her family and well, you know, it you have three crockpots, a bird should be cooking in at least on of them !

Sort:

Hahaha! I am just getting to these today, so late, but the humor isn't lost on them! Oh, Aunt Mary! Obviously, the lady has never has had her goose cooked.

I have to agree, there has never been enough Christmas for me. It has nothing to do with the gifts, but, those days of merry leading up to it are the absolute best. I have never had partridge before, no less in a pear tree. I have to wonder if they used the seeds, you know? The seeds contain amygdalin, which is a glycoside that can release cyanide. One would have to eat a lot of seeds to ever get cyanide poisoning by this route. Just in case you were wondering.

If she has three pots, can we make something else in the other one? Happy Monday!
