RE: The Epitome of Joy and all that Jazz

Wow ! That bright first photo really woke me up ! ha ha .... and I know macro photos make some things look different, but I am not sure of the green things/plant that surrounds the flower the bee is on.

I did not use to be an interrupter, but I have found myself do it from time to time now. Don't take a breath when you are talking, because I might think you are done and jump right in, just as you are continuing....LOL.... not funny, but I have noticed I have done that and I too am trying to be more aware, hoping I will stop it. Ugh... what IS that....? 🙂

It is hard to lose someone close. It is like someone takes a bite out of your soul. Even long after, something will bring the thought of them back in an emotional type of way and the tears show up again. I know too.

Hope you have a happy day today. It's suppose to get up to 96 here... Yikes !

Sort:

You don't have a Soul bud, you are one.

We win! It is only getting 94 here, but, it is so humid today that it feels like, you know.. that other place. The plant with the bee is a succulent, although the close-up looks like a rudbeckia in the stems, but, not the flowers. The top one is a Gerbera Daisy.

I know growing up there were so many of us, I would want to interrupt, but, know I couldn't. I wasn't polite. *eyeroll, * Because of course, it is now. another eyeroll

Le sigh.

It is hard to lose a mother. It is so very profound. It was about that time that my mom was buried and everything about the day reminded me of her. I had even forgotten until it was like a tap on the shoulder, and then... I just couldn't help myself. I feel better (relative) today and hope you are having a great day.

Keep cool, woman! @jacey.boldart

Just signed off of work. Worked an hour over.... YUCK ! ha ha. Haven't been out the door except for a quick minute to water one plant at break time this morning before it was scorching.

Supposed to be this bad or worse for a few days. Lexa says it is 94 here now. My Uncle out mowing the yard ! shakes head

I mowed today. It was 94. Maybe less by a degree. It fine. I'ts done now and I scheduled the sprinklers to go on in an hour. I have time to go to the shore, but I'm not going while its this hot. I know, sounds wrong, but, I wanted to go to Chincoteague and paddle out to the tidewaters to see the ponies. Too hot! Burn city.

Ya'll are crazy. He's 85. I hope he don't croak !

No sprinklers in my yard. He did the front this morning and scalped it extremely low right here at our hottest days yet ... and yet to come. It may be brown by the end of the week. LOL.... I don't think we are getting any rain. Poor grass.

Yikes!! 85? You could do it for him! :)) He would probably appreciate it.

I had a lawn guy when I broke my leg and kept him for 6 or 8 months after that. They charge so much around here!

He is funny about his big mower toys. I am not sure he would trust me to drive them. LOL

Either way, I wouldn't be doing it in the heat of the day ! Way early or after the sun goes down.... maybe.

Men and their toys. What can I say? They like to do it themselves. :)
