I am so sorry to hear about this tragic incident. I am glad though that something good is coming from it.
I cannot think that God would expect any lady to remain under such circumstances. And I agree with you that we shouldn't follow "religion" as set out by men, but we should rather seek a personal relationship with God, who is a loving Father.

It certainly is a tragedy but at least one with a positive ripple effect that is saving a lot of lives today.
Christianity is a religion founded on the principles of love so having a pastor advise a member to continue enduring domestic violence because the church is against divorce 🤷♀️ I mean what part of that expresses love.
Yeah, the beast of a husband is currently under arrest and in jail awaiting the result of the police autopsy before the case goes to court.
