It Matters

Our life is weird, it has lessons to teach you for every situation you encounter. Good, bad, or the worst. What stage of life are you in right now? How's life going? Good? I mean real good or just faking which we are experts at. I am going through the struggling part and the best part of it is that it is teaching me the hardest truths of life, ones that

There is something, one that drives all the people on earth, money. Those who possess lots of wealth would say money is not everything, but also they won't stop the desire to possess more. Those who don't have any money can understand whether money is everything or not but nothing good would sustain without money. How? Lemme tell you about a recent experience that compelled me to think so.

There was a relative, financially not so good or in a bad position. People didn't hesitate before pointing out mistakes if there were any. He was already someone from a respected position but still. I have been seeing them for the last five years. Wait, it's not like he humiliates or does rude behavior. Days kept going, he has been a good person since the beginning. Recently, his sons are doing great, financially they are getting stronger and stronger. So it's obvious that the father would also be in a good place through his sons. Now I am seeing a change in behavior towards them. In the past, where no one was there to give any extra care, now multiple people are raised to defend him for anything, not that he is asking for or he has changed himself in any way. It is by the virtue of his sons' positions, that this is good and expected. We all want our parents to get better respect, if it comes due to our ability then it's even more satisfying.

This is how our perspective changes towards a person who is well-off financially or not. I am the person who won't deny the importance of money by an inch, it's mandatory, whatever you say. Yeah, there are certain things that need to be maintained to not be manipulated by the addiction to money. It makes life easier, in fact, it makes you worthy of surviving in the current world where you don't get any shit with an empty pocket.

We all need to survive, a decent one, now it's the luxury, or the basic needs, money is mandatory for that. Now how you earn and spend would decide the other factors like happiness, satisfaction, peace, respect, and many more.

Sort:

Now my question is that do people only get respected when they have money?
What about those who are not rich?

They all say money is not everything but those who say that alot already have the money on ground....hehehe...if you ask me,I feel people respect people with money more than people who are less privilege.
And it's not suppose to be like that.
