A temporary life

Hi.

What are you doing? ask yourself this question when you stand up against the mirror. We are so lost in our comfort zones that we have forgotten the meaning of life. We are so much stuck in the societal already defined roles and ways that going out of the way, thinking outside the box seems illegal.

We are not sure about the next breath if we will be fortunate enough to have it or not. I am not sure about finishing and posting this very blog. Why this procrastination then? Are we not supposed to live our lives? more importantly, are we living our lives?

Most of us do not even speak up for ourselves. You must be thinking why I am writing this thought. I saw a few posts and reels on social media the other day. I was not attentive and it was mindless scrolling that we all do sometimes. But, it occured to me that even these few seconds are prescious in my life. I have to something meaningful and that can leave something positive on the people.

I used to ignore people who used to do bad to me. There is this one teacher, my colleague at the academy where I teach, He used to do bitching about me. I never liked it and I have compromised it a hundred times. He has told the admin so many overly exaggerrated things about me and has done character assasination on me. After ignoring his crap, I finally went to the admin office yesterday and told him to call my colleague to the office and get this sorted.

I looked at him and said," I know you do not like me at all. I was bothered by your remarks and judgmental assumptions that you passed about me. I am no longer bothered by your toxicity and if I have caused pain to you by any chance, I appologize. Life is short and we will never know which day is our last. Try to be a bit positive and inclusive, my brother."

This made me feel so lightheaded. I was happy and satisfied that I did this. I would suggest you all to do the same. I am sure it would finish all the negativity and toxicity from our minds and hearts. Thanks for visiting my blog. Life is too short to be boring. Live it.
