Thoughtful Daily Post History

TDP was born in 2019, when @wesphilbin started it with the tag #ThoughtfulDailyPost. His hope was to start a movement across the blockchain. He realized how many people could use a dose of positivity, love, consideration, thoughtfulness! This vision carried on to eventually spawn the community you see today, which aims to cherish this original vision.

This did not happen on its own by far— friends banded together to help strengthen and support the dream. You can read all about the awesomesauce that transpired to help the community along in this post by @wesphilbin! With that in mind, we'd like to give a HUGE shout out to @thekittygirl and @stayten for being there from day one. Thoughtful OGs 😎 ✨✌️

Thoughtful Daily Post Community Guidelines

• We require that all photos in the community are sourced. This means linking directly back to the public domain site that you used, or stating that your photos are your own.


• We have a strict stance against AI and plagiarism. We want to read your  original work!


• This community has a vision— stay on topic. Examples will be provided below. Have a question? Feel free to ask! 😄


• Posts should be 300+ words, shorter posts are likely to be overlooked.


• Posts must have an English version. If you translate your posts, we strongly recommend sharing the original version as well.


• Kind comments to other thoughtful posters make us smile— community is all about engagement! Please consider visiting other #thoughtfuldailypost authors.

We are one small community, part of a greater whole. We all share our gains and losses; together. We all interact with each other each day on this immutable blockchain.

With that being said, when there are bad elements amongst us... we all know. At the end of the day... the staff has the final say here... we don't need to explain.

What qualifies as a Thoughtful Daily Post?

We are looking for write-ups that focus on self-reflection, positivity, spirituality, philosophy, inspiration, and human nature. If it's something you'd sit back and mull over, chances are we'd love to read about it! Here are a few examples to spark the imagination:

✨ A recollection of the knowledge a grandparent shared, and what it means in your life.

✨ Your commentary on a book, movie, or television show that changed the way you look at the world. What lessons did it impart?

✨ Spiritual and religious practices are part of so many of our lives. We'd love to hear about the ones that are meaningful to you!

✨ Do you have a personal philosophy, or perhaps a favorite philosopher? We'd enjoy hearing about your connections to the ideas that fuel you.

✨ Is there a child in your life who has shaped the way you view the world? Tell us a story about the powerful wisdom of littles!

As long as it's centered on thoughtfulness, we're all about it!
