Mind the Gap by @millycf1976

While walking, I thought about the first time I heard the idiom "Mind The Gap." It was on my first visit to London in 1999, where I spent a month travelling via the underground daily. Throughout the stations (tube) was the repeated announcement for travellers to observe the space between the train and the platform to avoid falling in between.

Loneliness is not necessarily a negative thing... My personal journey by @freakshow90

For a great deal of time in my life, I thought that being alone, that loneliness or the mere fact of ending up at some point in life with no one around me would be one of the worst things that could happen to me in life. After a series of situations that have happened to me in life, added to the intelligence that only years and experiences give you, several of those things have changed.

TREAT OTHERS AS YOU'D TREAT YOURSELF by @hopestylist

Asking people what's wrong with them is not bad but when we do so as a form of insult then it is bad. As a person if I'm asked such a question as a form of insult I won't like it so I try as much as I can to avoid asking others that as well. A lot of us are really good at cursing at others but we should just try as much as we can, not to curse at others because that's what we would frown at, if someone was to do it to us.

What type are you? by @beckyroyal

Earth is a planet filled with about 8 billion people. This means that we all meet people everywhere we go and have different encounters with them.

The title of this post asks a deep question, that one needs to reflect on and give a honest answer to.

What type of person are you?

Life: the ultimate game by @b0s

The moment we're born, that's the spawn point. And then from that moment onward every single experience is either improving or reducing a certain stat. We get hugged by our parents, it increases our love stat, we feed on things, our stats improve, we grow little by little, day by day, soon we start walking, talking, and learning different things (sort of like XP in video games).

My Diary: October 8 2023 by @palomap3

Yesterday the patron saint festivities of my city began. Until next Sunday there will be activities for all ages and tastes. Thanks to the weather and the fact that this year the main day falls on a Thursday, it is expected that the city will welcome thousands of people who will fill the streets and squares during the last four days.

To Live by @mrnightmare89

Living in this world is not as simple as walking. By the time you learn how to walk, unlike a child who's still learning to walk. However, life is not like that, there are many things you need to take care of by the time you wake up. It's not easy, it requires a strong determination and courage to do so. That's why if I'd be asked what is my number one priority for tomorrow. Of course, it is "To Live"...

Uncertainties by @maryjacy

How body system is also unpredictable, Sometimes it baffles me how someone who was perfectly healthy yesterday was diagnosed with serious health problems the next day. There are times I wish I could see what will happen in the future, in other to prepare for the worst, but unfortunately, it's not possible...

Apocalyptic Homesteading (Day 1060) by @jacobpeacock

The day was not a super productive one but I did manage to wake up early, get a bunch of my routine chores done, go for a hike... and then later in the day get the soil in the topsoil trap 'rolled' again. This time I was much more thorough than the last time that I did that task and in doing so I exposed a good bit of area for the chickens to be able to get to the worms easier.

Gutted. by @jhymi

I’m yet to move into my apartment that’s near school so for now, I’m still coming from my parents'. School is in quite a different town from where I live so I’ve got to commute about forty-five minutes or thereabout to get to school every day. I was done with lectures and looking at my watch, it was almost 5pm so I rushed to get home.
