Navidad es una época que no muere en diciembre, y se extiende hasta la víspera de reyes o la paradura del niño en el mes de febrero. Lo que quiere decir, que más allá de un mes; son más de 2 o 3 meses de vigencia. Por ellos, los motivos navideños en lugares tan emblemáticos como esta redoma, podemos apreciarlos porque le dan una hermosa bienvenida al turista que viene desde la Autopista Nacional José Antonio Páez y quieren entrar a Guanare, desde la Avenida Vargas en dirección hacia la Avenida Unda.
Es una nueva tradición, las fotografías, propias y extrañas y no es para menos con la cantidad de motivos navideños llenos de brillo, luz y color para todos...

Todos los años, colocan un pino enorme con una estrella enorme también, con los colores necesarios. Encima tiene una estrella amarilla y es una señal que entramos a la Capital Espiritual de Venezuela, ese pino tiene los colores blanco y azul y en medio de la noche, nos abre sus brazos.
Es una impresión visual muy hermosa que año tras años podamos capturar estos momentos, puesto, que además que la fotografía es un arte interesante del cual día a día tratamos no solo de aprender sino también de amar y sentir...

Esas luces amarillas que bordean alrededor al pino navideño parecen las estrellas mismas. Es como si tuviéramos las estrellas en tierra.
Uno recuerda esos árbolitos llenos de luces que se hacían en nuestras épocas de niño en nuestras casas. Mi mamá y mi papá adornaban con pesebre y árboles navideños llenos de guirnaldas, colores y regalos, porque uno de niño, disfrutaba de la enorme mesa en casa con las hallacas riquísimas, la ensalada de gallina, el pan de jamón, las lentejas, los dulces y toda esa gastronomía que hoy disfrutarán en todo mi país... Yo soy comelón y me gustaba mucho probar estas delicias y hoy; por cuestiones del destino, extraño mucho la sazón de mi mamá quien está viva pero por razones que uno no entiende no está esta noche y más aún, extraño a mi papá quien hace algunos años partió a otros lugares celestiales.
También uno extraña mucho la inocencia y el amor familiar que hoy es algo distinto... Es que si uno pudiera inventar una máquina para retroceder el tiempo y darle el regalo navideño al niño del pasado (a uno mismo) quizás pudiera ver a mi abuela y a todos los amigos que no están en forma física pero que viven en nuestro corazón... Que noche esta noche, y que sirve para fotografiar y para revivir los viejos recuerdos, hoy la cena es con mis hermanos y queda siempre en mente vivir otro año para hacer lo mejor y triunfar... Hay que dar gracias a Dios por la salud y por todo, hay muchos que nisiquiera van a cenar ni tienen buena salud. Nosotros afortunados somos porque podemos celebrar hoy... Adiós Nochevieja. Hasta la próxima, Dios les bendiga...

My mother and my father decorated with a manger and Christmas trees full of garlands, colors and gifts, because as a child, one enjoyed the enormous table at home with the delicious hallacas, the chicken salad, the ham bread, the lentils, the sweets and all that gastronomy that today you will enjoy throughout my country... I am a eater and I really liked trying these delicacies and today; For reasons of destiny, I really miss the joy of my mother who is alive but for reasons that one does not understand she is not here tonight and even more so, I miss my father who a few years ago left for other heavenly places.
One also greatly misses the innocence and family love that today is something different... The thing is that if one could invent a machine to go back in time and give the Christmas gift to the child from the past (oneself) perhaps I could see my grandmother and to all the friends who are not in physical form but who live in our hearts... What a night this night, and what it serves to photograph and to relive old memories, today dinner is with my brothers and it is always in mind to live another year to do the best and succeed... We must thank God for health and for everything, there are many who do not even go to dinner nor are in good health. We are lucky because we can celebrate today... Goodbye New Year's Eve.
