Mis pequeños bienvenidos a un nuevo post de ilustración y diseño, el día de hoy este post va dedicado con mucho cariño a nuestro querido @theycallmedan por motivo de su cumpleaños que fue el día 14 de mayo.
Mi idea para esta entrada con ayuda de Eddie fue hacerle un avatar a la "Dragón Ball" pero no tanto en mi estilo chibi, sino en uno más proporcionado, también pensando en hacerle una nueva imagen para su perfil por si lo desea usar.
Antes de empezar pasemos a la dedicatoria de felicitaciones.
Querido Dan, espero que la hayas pasado genial en tu día y que la sigas pasando de lo mejor. Eddie y yo estamos muy agradecidos contigo por la oportunidad, la confianza y el apoyo que nos has brindado, deseo de todo corazón, que tu vida siga llena de amor y bendiciones de todo tipo rodeado de tus seres queridos.
Muchas felicidades a ti y a Gabi por su primer hijo y por el bebé que viene en camino, deseamos que llegue lleno de salud.
Espero te guste mi obsequio y de ser así que lo disfrutes mucho.
Podría decir más cosas, pero no sabría cómo expresar en palabras toda mi gratitud, así que mejor concluyó deseándote un feliz, feliz cumpleaños y que tu nueva vuelta al sol haya empezado excelentemente bien.

My little ones welcome to a new post of illustration and design, today this post is dedicated with love to our dear @theycallmedan for his birthday which was on May 14.
My idea for this post with the help of Eddie was to make him an avatar to the "Dragon Ball" but not so much in my chibi style, but in a more proportionate one, also thinking of making him a new image for his profile in case he wants to use it.
Before we start, let's move on to the congratulation dedication.
Dear Dan, I hope you had a great time on your day and that you continue to have a wonderful time. Eddie and I are very grateful to you for the opportunity, trust and support you have given us, I wish from the bottom of my heart, that your life continues to be full of love and blessings of all kinds surrounded by your loved ones.
Many congratulations to you and Gabi for your first child and for the baby that is on the way, we wish it arrives full of health.
I hope you like my gift and if so, I hope you enjoy it very much.

Ahora sí, después de estas emotivas palabras, pasemos a ver el proceso de creación del avatar.
Primero hice el boceto con lápiz y papel, como bien saben que siempre empiezo mi proceso, no sin antes pedirle a Eddie imágenes de referencia para poder captar la esencia de Dan.
After these touching words, let's move on to see the process of creating the avatar.
First I did the sketch with pencil and paper, as you well know I always start my process, not without first asking Eddie for reference images in order to capture Dan's essence.

Cómo pueden ver, hice un boceto para un Dan normal y uno que sería estilo "Dragón Ball"
La idea era combinar detalles de Dragón Ball con mi estilo y no tanto hacerlo con el estilo de dibujo del anime, para mí lo más llamativo y que distingue a la serie es el peinado de Goku, ya sea normal o en alguna de sus transformaciones. Por eso decidí tomar este elemento como base.
Pero aquí les muestro como se vería con el estilo de dibujo de Dragón Ball.
As you can see, I made a sketch for a normal Dan and one that would be "Dragon Ball" style.
The idea was to combine details of Dragon Ball with my style and not so much to do it with the drawing style of the anime, for me the most striking and that distinguishes the series is the hairstyle of Goku, either normal or in any of its transformations. That's why I decided to take this element as a base.
But here I show you how it would look with the drawing style of Dragon Ball.
Después de tomarle fotos a los bocetos, los pasé a la app Procreate para empezar a hacer un boceto más limpio y pasar al artline.
Cómo pueden ver, hice dos versiones, una con lentes y otra sin lentes, ya que vi que en la imagen de perfil que tiene Dan está usando lentes para sol.
Para el artline utilicé un pincel que es para entintado que nos da valores en las líneas, o sea, que puedes hacer líneas delgadas o gruesas según sea la presión que le pongas al Apple Pencil.
After taking pictures of the sketches, I moved them to the Procreate app to start making a cleaner sketch and move on to the artline.
As you can see, I made two versions, one with glasses and one without glasses, since I saw that in Dan's profile picture he is wearing sunglasses.
For the artline I used a brush that is for inking that gives us values in the lines, that is to say, that you can make thin or thick lines depending on the pressure you put on the Apple Pencil.
Después de terminar el artline procedí a ponerle color y para ello me base en su imagen de perfil y busque modificar los tonos para que se vieran más claros. También tomé de imagen de referencia la imagen de Goku para poder tomar los tonos del cabello y que quedará mucho mejor.
After finishing the artline I proceeded to color it and for this, I based on his profile image and tried to modify the tones to make them look lighter. I also took as a reference image the image of Goku to be able to take the tones of the hair and that will be much better.
