Tell us a story about how the Hive Blockchain changed your perspective or connected you to more people. We want to know how the blockchain has impacted your life.
Like I stated earlier, Hive has changed my life. It is one social media platform that I didn’t know I’d need until I came on board.
Hive has changed my perspective on helping people. I can say for a fact that random strangers can help you without demanding anything in return. Random strangers can work behind the scenes just to ensure you succeed. Yes, they don’t stand to gain anything from you and yes they exist on Hive. Have I experienced any of these? Yes, I have and I am still experiencing it😃
You know one thing about Hive? It’s the supporting culture. It’s one place where people can comfortably say: “the sky is big enough for everyone to fly”.
We all joined Hive as newbies but with time we also began to have newbies that we support. That’s what Hive does to you, it empowers you and in no time you see yourself helping someone out there without knowing them. You just want to see them succeed. You smile at their journey and growth.
You give back to the community in your own little way, nothing fancy, nothing grand, just pure kindness.
Hive has taught me that the more you extend a helping hand to strangers you meet here, the more you empower these people. You give them hope to show up again and again, and you make them feel seen. Yes, that’s the Hive spirit and if you’ve ever felt this way or helped someone here, you are on the right track.
By helping people, you don’t need to have so much stake to do that, you don’t need to be influential or hold any position.
Moreso, Hive has given me a voice through writing. Prior to this time, I never saw myself diving into writing. Yes, I did write but only in my diary.
I never thought my works would be read by people from different parts of the world.
I never believed I could share poignant stories of my life here and have people sympathize with me, cheer me on, and share similar stories without judging or laughing at me.
We have people that actually care here and it’s heartwarming to see them show up on our posts every now and then. No fake sympathy, just pure love and respect for us.
Through Hive I have met incredible people, some of these people have become a big part of my life. Being a DM away, they are always there for me, rooting and supporting me all the way.
Hive brought these people my way and I’d forever be grateful for our friendships.
