Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Every neighborhood has a benefit that comes with living there as well as certain disadvantages, and the only way we get to continue living there is if the advantages or benefits of living there outweigh the disadvantages. Trust me, some neighborhoods look like your dream neighborhood until you start living there, and you will realize it was all a disguise to lure you in, and now you cannot wait to move out or change where you live.
image is mine.
When I first gained admission into the university, I lived in the school hostel, and as always, the noise and fellow students shouting for no reason. Those days in the middle of the night, you just hear someone shout on top of their voice, and when you rush to check what is wrong, you find them laughing at you. That means they just shouted, and nothing was really going on. Though living in the hostel was fun, I still could not wait to leave because I crave peace and quiet, but I was never going to get that with the way these boys behave. Time flies, and before you know it, we were done with 100-level exams, and it was time to move out so the new students can take over the hostel as school rule demands.
I found an apartment off campus, my first time there with the agent, and I said to myself, This is the apartment for me because of how quiet the whole neighborhood was the day I went to check it out. A few weeks later, I moved in, and I realized it was not the apartment made for me. It was like the occupants and the agent planned it. The day I came to check out the house, I did not see a single generator, but after I moved in, I started seeing generators as big as rooms owned by one person, like there were multiple generators, and there was nothing like peace and quiet in the apartment.
The moment this one turns off their generator and the other person turns on theirs, peace departs from the apartment not to talk more of the loud music. I had my own generator too but don't turn it on often, but I had neighbors who, even if we have power supply for two days straight, the moment power goes off, they are rushing to turn on their generator. When there is no power supply, you have to deal with the noise from generators and loud music, but when there is power supply, you have very loud music to deal with, more like there is no escaping from the noise and disturbance.
The moment my rent expired, I looked for a new place. Here is a lot better. The major problem with my new neighborhood is the bad road. Aside from that, it is as peaceful as I want it, though we have occasional noises and disturbances, and most of all, neighbors minding their businesses and staying is the most interesting part of my new neighborhood.
Glad the apartment is cool and you enjoy your stay.
I once saw a house that I loved so much, but couldn't stay there.
Currently I have seen houses I like too, but don't want to risk it.
Thanks for stopping by.
Alright dear
You are welcome
