I received a call 10 days ago from my mother that someone called her with my sister's phone and told her that my sister had a terrible accident and this happened when she was on her way back from work. The accident happened around 11pm in the night where a reckless bus driver hit her while she was on a motorcycle. The bike man that carried my sister lost his life at the process while my sister was unconscious and broke one of her hand and leg.
The first hospital they took her to rejected her and recommended another hospital for her to be treated. Can you imagine the kind of health system we have in this country where a life is needed to be saved and instead of showing concern to revive her back they are giving excuses that is not pleasing to the ear that there is no bed and equipment to treat her.
Then we went to another hospital which was like almost 30 minutes from the first hospital but this time she was admitted. She didn't open her eyes for like two days neither did she move nor say anything but she was breathing. When she finally opened her eyes she had no idea where she was and can't remember anything.
The second hospital also did something similar to the first hospital where they have to collect deposit first before attending to the patient who needs an urgent treated. To avoid delay, we have to follow process in other for her to be admitted but before then I shouted at them at the hospital because this is not a good way to save life where so many people have lost their lives in this kind of situation.
The bus driver who caused the accident ran away but left the bus behind. This is really unfair from him to display such act and probably why he ran away was due to the fact he noticed someone have lost his life at the process.

We were asked to do x-ray at the hospital in other for the doctors to know how affected the bone is which we did for both the hand and leg.

After the result of the x-ray, one the doctors treating my sister said we will need to transfer her to an orthopedic hospital when they focus mainly on musculoskeletal which they don't have in the hospital.
To be sincere, I am really writing this post with pain in my heart as there is no money to continue with the treatment and my sister is in pain where she is helpless at the moment to do anything.
The hospital they asked us to go requires money which I don't have neither did my parents have, the money we've tried and gather is what we use in treating her in the hospital.
We've taken her home for now to see if we can see help and support else where to continue with the treatment.
I don't know if this might look offensive by tagging names in this platform but I sincerely apologize for doing so as am in need of support which I will really appreciate. I hope this all ends good there, it is sad to see this 👀🙏🙏🙏😶 , and yes this f..k up money thing fill f..k up soon this hospitals also. It shows beautifully how our system of society is built up in a wrong way, this money problem is in every country , even if you are in a developed country. ... i hope this names who you dag , fill open eyes , also in hive world lot top users, not move there brains if they don't see the money first .. and if they have then they also not move 💁♂️ but we wait and see .
It is really a challenge to experience such situations especially when money is needed but I hope and pray it ends well.
This is a sad situation and this happened also in my country the hospital won't let the patient in if you don't have money down for the deposit. It's crazy but that's the fact. It is All About Money forget savings life. It's money over life! Anyway, I hope and pray for your sister's fast recovery. God Bless and Stay Strong!
The heath system shouldn't operate that way especially when it is an emergency case because I have seen situations where patients pass out due to the fact that they refuse to treat them.
I experienced it myself. My husband took me to the emergency and had me sit on the bench for almost 4 hrs before they finally had a guy approach me with that computer asking for personal details, then asking if I pay right away or if they send the bill. It's ridiculous you're in pain but still, their first concern is money.

It's sad how the recklessness of a person affects the life of others even to the point of death. Now a life has been lost because of a silly mistake of the bus driver, and he still ran away.
I wish your sister a quick recovery. Thank God she regained consciousness, I hope she comes out from this completely 🙏 ❤️.
He knows he has gotten himself in a big trouble and morever the bus is in the police custody presently and also they are looking for him.
