I have spent minutes thinking of how to present myself or what to tell people I am.
How do you introduce yourself to people if you don’t know who you are?
We just regurgitate information that was given to us by people that brought us up.
I’m going to try and be honest about who I am.
My name is Chinwendu Perpetua Odimgbe. I’m an Igbo girl from a Nigerian home. I grew up in Anambra state all my life but at this stage in my life, I am looking for ways to escape this place I have lived all my life.
I don’t want to live a boring life, I constantly want to feel adrenaline course through me and that’s why one of my biggest dreams in life is to be a War Correspondent.
I have started my journey in that line. I’m currently a broadcaster and on-air personality. My job is to entertain and try not to be as controversial as I want to be (annoys me sometimes and I enjoy my job).
I love to sing a lot but my voice betrays me, I guess that’s why I ventured into talking (my voice must be heard either way).
I know that my mission in life is to make people feel something, to feel less alone, to hear their stories, and to know that someone cares about them. I want when you encounter me, you see yourself in my life, I always try to be brutally honest with my experiences in life.
I got to know Hive through Curiosity and asking a stupid question.
@dera told me that she writes and posts videos, I should have assumed that it was Substack or Instagram but I asked her where and she said Hive.
Hive? Beehive? What’s that?
And that’s how I found myself here.

I always want people to learn, to know things they don’t know, and to care about things. That’s what my content is centered around.
