My Journey Into Web3

I wouldn't wanna say sadly, but growing up I could say I was raised more or less like a "get inside" child, not exposed to the things happening outside in the world so it actually limited me to the kind of life I lived or the circle of people I mingled with either positively or negatively.

So growing up and even becoming an adult I didn't know about anything web3. I was only used to using my social media platforms to talk about either my adventures, or post my artworks to get connected to more clients until my NYSC program started and I had to live with a friend for a while before securing an apartment. From him, I got to know about Bitcoin(BTC) but I was still kind of ignorant and acted nonchalant to the priceless information he was divulging back then though he was also regretting how he had withdrawn his investment when he was in need of money and just shortly after he withdrew and spent the money, the rate of BTC raised.

Still, I was still not into the idea of the web3 space and crypto world because it was all still new to me until an old friend of mine and I talked about investment and we discussed to the point of cryptocurrency, he mentioned BTC, some hot and cold coins and since then I had the idea about having my investment in crypto even if it's like a risk game and since I'm still a middle-like risk appetite taker, I concluded I would manage as life itself is a risk. We started the whole process and was hoping to invest as soon as there was dipping but I think he lost interest in proceeding to bring me aboard.

Some months after then I left my job due to some toxic situations happening and though I felt the peace of mind but I felt like I was idle and not up and running like before except for my artwork. Though I knew I love to write cos even for an ordinary Whatsapp status caption, it will be filled up not to talk of times when I would just take my book then to write some short stories but I never knew I would end up on a public platform, writing as a blogger (maybe in my dreams sha).

So I came across a friend's status who also just started blogging and posted a snippet of her post and I decided to check in and I was impressed with what I saw. So I chatted her up back and before she could even replied, I had finished navigating the website and started writing my posts as well ☺️. Like this really got me happy like I received money from someone that day but It was only because I thought within me I got fulfilled on something I didn't realize well enough before. Though the website has some criterias or requirements before you can start earning but I was still happy that I was writing for people to read and comment on.

So on sharing a snippet from my blog as well, a bro and a friend saw it and introduced me to Hive and that I would be earning as I'm writing and it's even as a crypto. I could say joining Hive has been the best decision for me since then. Not because It was paying off instantly unlike the previous one I joined but because it gave room for me to explore, think critically, most importantly when I have to write on topics from communities just like this SciFi multiverse Web3 topic and not what I basically have the inspiration to write about because I love it when I'm being challenged to do things. Though it's not a far journey yet, but the knowledge I have now about Hive, web3 as a whole and crypto world, I would always wish I had known and work towards it way back in the journey of my life.

Though it may look late to me or anyone reading this about getting to know about stuffs like this, even in this era or generation that we are but I'm sure it's never too late to give it a trial, learning and becoming a better person at what one chooses to do. All I wish and hope I have is a good circle of knowledgeable persons/people who would put me through alongside my personal findings to grow and become more financially stable (Money is important 🤗)

So I'll be dropping my pen here on my journey into Web3 as a topic given by SciFi multiverse.
