A Journey Through Virtual Reality.

The very first time I tried this Virtual stuff was in a gaming area in shopright(A big and popular supermarket). I had never experienced it, I had seen people participate, shout, act weird and all, but....I decided to give it a shot too.

I moved near, talked with the person in charge and paid, I was given some things to put on my head, ear and face. Immediately the screen lit up, and I was no longer standing in noisy gaming area. I was trying to find my way in the middle of a snowy mountain, with wind howling in my ears. I even tried to take some handful of snowflakes that didn't exist.

I wouldn't want to take you far in my experience, that should be a story for another day😁. But, that's the thing about VR...it takes you deeply into another world that you would almost forget the real one.

Today,Virtual Reality is seen in almost every sector... Practicing doctors now use VR simulations before touching real patients. I heard how a school somewhere took their students to a notable place in Jerusalem without leaving the four walls of their classroom. I have some of my friends who are already used to it, they claim VR games are a lot more thrilling.

While all this sounds like a sci-fi movie, I can’t help but wonder what it would be/look like when VR takes over and people get addicted to it. A lot of people today, including myself, can be on the phone from morning till night without even taking note of time, if VR becomes that addictive, what do you think the world will be like by then....

You’re cruising on a VR yacht in New York, sipping Champagne....it sounds good and fun right, instead of being inside a danfo bus rushing out to hustle...Cause, what happens when you remove that headset and you are faced with the reality.... house rent, Nepa bill, foodstuff, school fee and a lot more.

Not to talk of the effect on the brain...If the brain keeps processing a fake world for long hours, won't it confuse our perception of reality? We live in a world where we all are already trying to dodge real life challenges, won't VR now become an escape for us?

For someone like me who grew up in a small town, I had dreamt of seeing the world, and VR feels like....the key. I can explore different places, attend functions/events and all, all from the four walls of my room. But as we all know....too much of everything is bad/not beneficial. Who knows, VR might be helpful in building a world we all hope for, it might be helpful in our schools, hospitals, businesses and all. The future might be closer to us than we know, and it is up to us either to build with it or not....

Yes using VR is a like living a dream you can see places where it could be impossible sometimes for us to go! I had some good experience already in visitng interesting places like the deep sea.

Wow...what a great one that is...
VR really feels like the big break...

Virtual Reality Is indeed an interesting piece of technology and I would be happy to try it out someday. Though one should watch out for it's negative effects when using it.

You are right though...one really need to be careful.
But you can go ahead and check it out... it's interesting.
