In these regular updates we will bring fresh content to Hive, in the form of our game coding experiences; IBT is a developing PC game - the one to have future Crypto interactions.
Work progresses at pace - Back on track
Slowly but surely we are copying the code of the old IBT Island to the new version and debugging and re-writing some of the code has actually been a positive experience.
Having much more knowledge than before we have tidied up a lot of the previous code and added a few extra things too. This week has been all about adding the characters back in again and getting all the HUD to work fluently.
Compass and Other HUDS working so far
The HUD which has things like, the compass, time, day and stamina plus day and night cycle and other various bars (Health, Hunger etc.), are all being tested and so far everything is working as planned. The only problem we are having like before is having the night completely pitch black but it is a matter of time before we resolve that too.
Animations Added
Adding the characters also required adding the animations. Each character skeleton must fit the character from the fingers to the arms, the body to the legs and head. If something's out it can cause all sorts of accidents and make them look like something out of a Steven King novel.

I haven't looked a long time at the IBT Update posts, but goddamn you're putting a lot of work into this and there is definitely progress to show for it.
The HUDs look nice, and it's really cool that there's also a compass :)
