I also believe that the 24-hour window is short and curators have to run to find the content and with videos, it's a problem it does not generate good traction in just 24 hours. An increase to 3.5 days will give more visibility to content and more time to curators as well. The other point about the community also sounds good but I have not experienced it so can not say much.
