En Transilvania vivía toda la familia Drácula o al menos los que no se habían mudado a otros continentes o países, uno de los miembros de esta familia llevaba por nombre Klaus, este vampiro preocupada a su familia, pues era un vampiro totalmente diferente.

Desde que nació, Klaus había demostrado ser diferente, su aspecto no era el típico de un vampiro, si bien conservaba la distinción y elegancia, no era frío y distante, tampoco miraba al resto con desprecio, sus ojos siempre parecían brillar y estar alegres y siempre, siempre sonreía, además su piel no lucia tan pálida como la del resto de su familia, hasta rosadas lucían sus mejillas sobre todo al sonreír.

Por si esto no fuera suficiente, no era malvado por naturaleza, no disfrutaba de hacer cosas malas a los habitantes pueblo cercano, como asustarlos o perseguirlos para aterrarlos antes de chupar su sangre, cosa que no hacía, su familia terminaba dándole sangre en copas.

Pero lo que su familia más detestaba era el que en lugar de vestir de negro como un buen vampiro, amaba los colores, mientras más llamativos mejor, además tenía un amigo humano en el pueblo, su familia no comprendía por qué este joven vampiro de 100 años era así.

Lo que ellos no sabían era que este vampiro, al tener un mejor amigo humano, que lo acepto tal cual era, le había mostrado y enseñado a usar internet, así Klaus tenía internet en el castillo, una buena computadora y su teléfono inteligente, así que aunque no viajaba había conocido mucho del mundo actual gracias a internet.

La noche del cumpleaños 1000 de su tatarabuelo Vlad, Klaus asistió para celebrar con su familia, ya que aunque le regañaban por su extraña forma de ser, él les amaba y deseaba compartir con su tatarabuelo que tantas historias de terror interesantes le había contado, pero por algún motivo su familia estaba muy molesta con él esa noche y la fiesta se convirtió en una pesadilla para Klaus.

Sus padres y hermanos lo atacaron por su forma de ser y vestir, ya que llego a la fiesta vestido de color amarillo y le hicieron saber que era una deshonra para la familia y además le informaron que habían revisado su habitación y que habían tirado a la basura el montón de cosas extrañas que tenía en ella, puesto que seguramente eso y la amistad con ese joven humano era lo que le había perjudicado.

Klaus no podía creer lo que su familia decía, ellos se habían aislado tanto del mundo en su afán de protegerse y seguir puros, que ya no tenían ni idea de cómo eran las cosas, no sabían que podían obtener sangre sin necesidad de cazar a un humano. Llego un momento en el Klaus se sintió tan triste por la incomprensión de su familia, que grito tan fuerte que asombro a todos, era la primera vez que le veían así, se asustaron, callaron y retiraron, así termino la velada.

La noche siguiente Klaus se acercó a su familia para hablar con ellos, les mostró con detalle por medio de su celular lo que era el mundo moderno y como podían seguir siendo vampiros sin necesidad de matar, esos les permitiría estar aún más seguros, pues nadie los buscaría por venganza, además les informo que había decidido irse a visitar otros países, pero no porque no les amara, era porque no le aceptaban tal cual era.

Esa noche fue larga para los padres y hermanos de Klaus, estaban tristes porque se dieron cuenta de que habían sido injustos con él y cuando estaba por irse le regaron no lo hiciera, Klaus los miro con ese brillo y esa sonrisa que siempre le había caracterizado y les dijo:

-no se preocupen, solo daré una vuelta por un tiempo y volveré para que luego ustedes también puedan ir a conocer el mundo conmigo.

Así, tras el paso de un año, Klaus volvió con muchas fotos e historias para su familia, ellos estaban felices, porque tras su ausencia aprendieron a valorarlo y tras unos meses de descanso en su castillo organizaron un viaje para ir a conocer el mundo unidos como familia, la razón, se dieron cuenta de que eso que veían diferente en Klaus no eran debilidades, eran virtudes que lo hacían no solo diferente también fuerte y eso les ayudo a ser una familia más unida y feliz.

As if this was not enough, he was not evil by nature, he did not enjoy doing bad things to the nearby villagers, like scaring them or chasing them to terrify them before sucking their blood, which he did not do, his family ended up giving him blood in cups.

But what his family hated the most was that instead of wearing black like a good vampire, he loved colors, the more flashy the better, plus he had a human friend in town, his family didn't understand why this young 100 year old vampire was like that.

What they did not know was that this vampire, having a human best friend who had accepted him as he was, had shown him and taught him how to use the internet, so Klaus had internet in the castle, a good computer and his smart phone, so although he did not travel he had known much of today's world thanks to the internet.

The night of his great-great grandfather Vlad's 1000th birthday, Klaus attended to celebrate with his family, because even though they scolded him for his strange way of being, he loved them and wanted to share with his great-great grandfather who had told him so many interesting horror stories, but for some reason his family was very upset with him that night and the party turned into a nightmare for Klaus.

His parents and siblings attacked him for his way of being and dressing, since he arrived at the party dressed in yellow and they let him know that he was a disgrace to the family and also informed him that they had searched his room and that they had thrown away the pile of strange things he had in it, since surely that and the friendship with that young human was what had harmed him.

Klaus could not believe what his family was saying, they had isolated themselves so much from the world in their eagerness to protect themselves and remain pure, that they no longer had any idea of how things were, they did not know that they could obtain blood without the need to hunt a human. There came a moment in which Klaus felt so sad for the incomprehension of his family that he shouted, so loud that amazed everyone, it was the first time they saw him like that, they were scared, shut up and retired, so the evening ended.

The next night Klaus approached his family to talk to them, he showed them in detail through his cell phone what the modern world was and how they could continue being vampires without killing, that would allow them to be even safer, because no one would look for them for revenge, he also informed them that he had decided to go to visit other countries, but not because he did not love them, it was because they did not accept him as he was.

That night was long for Klaus' parents and brothers, they were sad because they realized that they had been unfair with him and when he was about to leave they told him not to do it, Klaus looked at them with that brightness and that smile that had always characterized him and told them:

-don't worry, I'll just go around for a while and I'll come back so that later you too can go and see the world with me.

So, after a year passed, Klaus returned with many photos and stories for his family, they were happy, because after his absence they learned to value him and after a few months of rest in his castle they organized a trip to go to see the world together as a family, the reason, they realized that what they saw different in Klaus were not weaknesses, they were virtues that made him not only different but also strong and that helped them to be a more united and happy family.
