RE: Cost of Living Crisis – A Collection of Symptoms caused by Serious Long-term Political Failure

in Economics2 years ago

It is very scary that this is happening in top countries of the world where inflation is making lives difficult and government is cause. We that even with enough employment this side of the world does not indicate a good and stable economy because wages are not increasing but the price of goods make x5.

This is understandable why people are protesting to stop government actions causing these sudden changes, what are the measures that can put everything back in place?

Things should never have got this bad. They have because people in Government and Big Business are greedy for power and wealth. They need some form of crisis so that the people will call for their help and surrender more freedom and money.

There are no good short-run solutions or responses. People are going to suffer no matter what is done. However, in the long-run, things can get better. It starts with rolling back intervention. This will hurt as many people will lose support. But the economy will start to settle down. Inflation is a manufactured problem. Economies are actually deflationary by nature as efficiency improvements and competition pulls prices down. Rapidly increasing money supply, restricting competition, hindering of supply chains, and wasteful Government expenditure fuels inflation. All of which can be avoided.

The urge for power by government and big business is a big problem in also every part of the world. The same problem is happening in Africa.

To solve big problems people will always get hurt but I believe sometimes it worth it to have a better future
