Power, wealth and fame are really very difficult to obtain and people hold unto it because they just want to remain in control, and even when they really do not need as much, they just want to have it in their grip.

For those not born into it, power, wealth and fame are hard to get. It involves great commitment and sometimes sacrifice. They are not going to just let it go. It might be a little different for some of those born into. Hence, we have replacements sometimes.
