Hope you can get a good price for the truck. Mexico sounds good.

I'll get around what I paid for it, but first want to sell the huge steel hydraulic lift first as its worth half what I paid for the truck ahhaha

I think Mexico would be a bad move at the moment. The whole object of this pandemic is to bring people down, in shit hole countries like Mexico those people will fall rather quickly compared to other countries who have social programs in place that some people have as a resource, of course they won't fall as quickly as some of the third world countries like what you are seeing in Africa or Cuba right now. Those people are literally dying, they've had it bad for years but they survived on what little the governments gave them, now with supply chain problems and shut downs the people are saying fuck it, if they are going to leave us out here to die anyway might as well rebel. There's no left overs for them if you get my drift, that's the plan they will eventually implement everywhere it's just going to take longer in more civilized countries. In Mexico many have the advantage right now of running for the border and they are by the hundreds of thousands.

Why in the hell would he want to go to a country where people are actually fleeing by the hundreds of thousands? No where he's been since I've been following his wonderings has he ever said he went somewhere and people were fleeing.

I understand your perspective but what you have to realise is that the quality of life is quite good in Mexico. What I'm talking about are the basic human needs such as access to nature, time to be with friends and family, climate capable of growing food, and freedom to live and build without interference from too much regulation. Some may consider this way of life, "poverty" but I disagree.

To each his own, just times are really crazy right now.

what do you think of hungary?

all the best of success to ya brother!

I decided to check on what you've been up to since I haven't had convenient Internet for a while... And what do you know, you're coming to Mexico. Very nice my friend.

In my opinion, this is the place to be for the coming storm. Haha, that's why I'm here. DM me if you want to chat.

Your in Mexico?!

I've been in Oaxaca for a year, up in the hills in the Huatulco area. Was looking to start a community with some others. We didn't really have a plan and it has mostly dissolved but it may come back to life in some form. We built a couple casitas there and have installed irrigation and planted some gardens. All this done without a written agreement and no ownership, haha. I am still living there while deciding how to proceed. I may complete the land purchase of 3.5 hectares and build a few things as a refuge and keep the gardens going.

Land ownership in Mexico is complicated it seems. There is a restricted zone of 50km from the beach where foreigners can't own land directly. Then, there is a lot of communal land which you can "own" but it's within the communal structure. I don't know all the details on that but it's good to be aware of.

Come for a visit if you are in the area or planning to travel a bit to check out Mexico.
