The smallest and the largest

in Orchid Loverslast year

Untitled-1.jpg

My orchid collection is growing. Who would have thought a few years ago when I got my first orchid as a gift and the next day when I woke up, all the leaves had fallen off.
I couldn't understand what had happened in a few hours. Only then did I conclude that it must be a spell :d and that orchids are not for me. However, that made me study them a bit and soon I bought one, then another, so I counted to 6. The last two are the biggest and the smallest.
The last one is a "mini, mini orchid", no bigger than the tip of a pencil. I saw it in the flower shop last year, but I resisted it then. However, two months ago, when I saw that it was slowly decaying there (no one has bought it yet) and that the leaves had turned yellow, I took it home. Since then, the "mini, mini orchid" has started to stabilize and has a new leaf. It didn't even have roots, so I'm hoping that the new leaf is a sign that the roots have started to grow too.
And my biggest orchid is also blooming this year. Last year it had 18 flowers that opened gradually and lasted from March to July. I hope it will be the same this year.
In the photo, you can see the difference in the size of these two flowers.

Thank you!

They are lovely, love to admire them but this flower definitely isn't for me.

Tried-killed, enough. :D

Try again, but the less love, the better.

I'll just keep admiring them around, learned that they are low maintenance, but requires same constant temperature and that's no good for for me as I like to move the pots around the house. 😂
