I Got Obsessed with Layering Necklace!

For the past two months, I got obsessed with necklace layering. I used to wear pieces of jewelry a lot when I was in college. However, when I got more active, it became more convenient to stay away from pieces of jewelry, except for a small pair of earrings.

One time my mom gave me a necklace of green and red clovers which I really loved wearing. From then on, I wear it with other jewelry I used to have. -That basically started how I want to keep wearing them every day.

There are actually no rules on how you layer them. It depends on your mood. What is important though is that they are in different lengths. It is also preferable to layer metals of the same kind. You can incorporate beads, stones, and pearls but all metals should be the same: rose gold, silver, white gold, and gold. They are not pure, precious metals. I just use 18k or 14k gold plated metals because they luster like the pure ones, they don't tarnish quickly, but they do not cost as much. In fact, I got so obsessed I started buying some DIY jewelry materials so I can make my own.

The 14k gold jewelry materials and tools I bought online

I bought some headpins, round pins, pendants, chains, lobster locks and also bought additional tools. I used to make jewelry and sell them when I was in college but I usually work with cheap brass or steel alloys. They look good and they are cheap but they wear out in a few months. For now, I am very excited for my order to arrive. I can't wait to share my works with you. Until next time.
