“You must collect moments. Those will be the true wealth of your soul.” ― Liviu C. Tudose

Every single morning you are presented the opportunity to give yourself a good moment. In fact, if you want... you can have an entire day filled with them, it really is up to you.

The mornings are different out here in the sticks. Slower, and somehow more meaningful. Perhaps it is the silence or maybe it is just that the air if filled with a calmer energy in general.

I find myself savouring the mornings a whole lot more now - and this does not mean that they have no purpose or direction, not at all - in fact, the opposite really. It is just that routine seems to hold more substance - more good moments.

Even hanging the laundry is no longer just this mundane daily exercise, because the trip to the washing line presents me with beauty in every direction, I am greeted by tortoises, rabbits, birds and so many beautiful sounds.

The good moments are always there, because they can be anything really. It could be simply appreciating the fact that you were blessed with life today, a hug from your child or a simple glance out of the window at a beautiful view. All it takes really is for us to pay attention to the good moments.

And no, it is not an act of selfishness to be good to yourself - you deserve it and it actually fills you with a richness which will ultimately spill over into the lives of others.

“It was a breezy rainy day. As the breathful afternoon melted away into a warm evening, the cold caress of fresh air lapped up my heart with images of forever's smile. I watched and watched how a little boy walked hand in hand with his mother, how an old man sat waiting for someone in a distant shelter, how a youthful love sparkled away in that gentle embrace of moments in making, how an old lady watched the children laughing away in a happy carousel, how a noisy afternoon throbbed through clutching silences, how the sky sailed along a bunch of stories never to share, an untold harmony of unsung moments. And as the rain smoothed its wings to a lulling breeze, I saw a day smiling with moments of forever's shine. It was a breezy rainy day, and one of the most beautiful days of my wandering heart.”

Wishing you ALL a day of good moments!

❤❤❤

Until next time...

This is how I feel when I'm in the wilderness...Calm energy, meaningful moments and a slower world, or a slower passage through the world I should say...I seem to slow down and let the world catch me up.

Have you ever climbed a mountain, applying effort and exertion to the task and then angled your legs off a cliff face, warm sun on your face? I have...It's amazing. On one occasion I was joined up there by an eagle catching thermals and wheeling around whilst looking for prey. I'll forever remember that moment, the feeling of it; It is one of my good moments as you put it. One of the very best.

The good moments are always there, because they can be anything really.

Even a kind word from a stranger, or loved friend. There's no rules...Good moments are everywhere, we just nee to see them. It's up to us...To quote you.

Happy Thursday Jaynie, make it a good one. You have the mindset so it's doubtful I need to prompt you.

You watered that olive grove yet? Lol. No splashing.

I can relate to the experience you outlined, but I don't think I will be dangling my legs off any cliff haha - I have a serious fear of heights, so probably wouldn't go anywhere NEAR the edge.... sad to say.

Olive grove on agenda tomorrow :)

Belated response, so wishing you a great weekend ahead instead :)

That's the good thing about these moments, they can be found anywhere, one just has to be open to them.

Have a good weekend too Jaynie...Enjoy the olive grove watering.

Thank you - you too! And I will :)
