These photos are great! They remind me of couple of trips I did to Romania. Where Danube meets the sea (Sulina, Saint-George and one more I can't remember) had lots of fun exploring the coast line.

Ah, rivers :) Yours has been on a much larger scale. I'd like to find Danube's mouth some day.
