For the cost and having a good quality feed for our livestock farming it's better we use our hand to prepare them. Feed is the kind of food which are given to domestic animals like cow, goat, birds, catfish, and many more and such feed are known as animals feeds. Animal feeds differs depending on the type, age, and size of the animal and sometimes even the health state of the animal determines the type of feed to be served.
Why it's important to consider the type of feed for a specific animal, size, and age is because some of the feed will be harmful to them. Like considering a locally made feed like the one I made is good to be given to our livestock at a mature age because it won't have any harm and can still make the animals grow weight. For foreign or company made animal feeds it's important animals consume this type of made feed so that they can grow healthier at their amateur stage. When animals like birds, cow, goat, and fish are at their weeks age they need fast foreign growing feeds made by companies and not the locally made one.
I usually makes parp known as locally made Custard using maize 🌽 and I also grind cassava which will later be turned to Garri. During their processes there are usually waist products that usually comes out and such waist products are what I usually use for the local products of animal feeds good for birds and goat. Before I didn't know how to be using those waist products from Parp and cassava for animal feed and then I usually throw them into waist been. I continued with such act untill a fried who usually sees me throwing them into waist been called me and told me the good things that I can use the Parp and cassava waist products for animal feeds which I can use for my birds and goat or even market it for money making. This was how I was taught how to make animal feeds.
To make the animals feed which only good for birds and goat consumption It's good to remove the waist products and keep them under the sun for days so they dry properly. The drying of the waist products from Pap and Cassava will help the feeds of made not to be harmful to the birds or goat. The drying will also make the locally made feed not to sour because when they do fungus will take place leading the animal feed to damage entirely which will no longer be good for birds.
As the Pap and Cassava waist products are dried it's good to grind crayfish and add inside which will be best if turned together. Other dried fish will also be helpful for the bird and goat feed making because those ingredients will help to add more nutrition for the birds.
