Yesterday evening I have found this two pieces hanging in the garden farm and was delighted to see them. Harvest is harvest, no matter how big or small. Although this could have been more if there was rain rain. The tomatoes are all ready to for fruit production but the lack of water seems to be a hunderance.

I was wondering and thought that I should ask my community friends this:

How many pieces of tomatoes do you need to make an average soup or stew. Ever since tomatoes got expensive here I have worked on various alternatives or how to manage the little we could afford to purchase. For me if I could get at least 8-10pieces of that tomatoes above, it is just enough to make soup for myself and 4 other siblings. Seeing at least these two pieces shows that our labour here is not in vain.

While I had recently just transplanted some of my tomatoes and still working on how to move the rest my brother planted his own directly on the ground here.
The boy has been so passionate about gardening just like myself. He has helped me with a lot of work on my own garden portion and also decided to plant his own garden at home after seeing mine. We live apart hence he has a better location with no flooding like the one I often experience

Yesterday we picked up the first tomatoes fruits from his garden when I went home visiting. His tomatoes 🍅🍅🍅 were planted earlier than mine and in just the space of two months, there is something to harvest here.

It appears like we are both experiencing a common challenge. The lack of rainfall. It is getting really overwhelming at this time. Everything in the farm is drying up and the tomatoes here as well. I have adviced him to water them since they are just by the house. At least we could save these plants in the house.

My tomatoes are doing well in the house here ever since I planted them. I will be adding more sands and to their root as they grow further since the sand around them looks shallow for now.

Right now it is about 7am in the house here and I am already wetting every single plant in my garden. I really wish that a miracle of rain can happen at this time to save our crops from further damage. After this work I will be off to our family farm today as we would be continuing further work of planting rice.
It will rather unfortunate that we have planted these wide rand of food crops and the rain is causing so much damage. I am really not happy at all, working about all day and highly expectant of the rain.
