Learn proper gardening and some challenges with growing vegetable, spinach species are all destroyed.

Countless times after planting my seeds, I often look forward to successfully gardening journey where there will be healthy and green vegetables to be harvested and used for cooking our meals both by myself and my neighbors around. But my experience with growing vegetables here hasn't been a fair one. I have to put in effort and keep trying my best.

The jute mallow has never for once giving me an issue when planting. It germinated really well and has continued to grow on its own.
Even for this session of my 2nd gardening season and attempts with growing veggies at home, jute mallow has surpassed other veggies and today they are healthy and and at this stage of growth within just 3weeks.

The vegetables are all destroyed now. These spinach are the vegetables that have been attacked and destroyed by differnt animals.
First it started with lizard whom I detected to have destroyed the last set of veggies . After trying to grow thesame species of spinach again, these ones were attacked by snails.

Here is what has become of the planted African spinach. Contrary to the healthy growing jute mallow you can see how that the spinach has now been completely destroyed after everything I have done to grow some of it here.

There are dozens of snails in our compound here. I can't say if it is because of the swampy condition of the place or not but the the entire place has become a habitation for snail that it is really difficult to get rid of them.

While there are a lot of grasses for them to feed on, they found the leaves of my spinach more edible. I made it a habit to continually pick up snails from the veggies every morning and evening, yet there is nothing left of the veggies.

It is really surprising to see that snails can destroy a whole bed of planted and growing vegetables. Sincerely I don't feel happy about this as this is the second time I will be planting spinach vegetables with nothing to harvest at the end.

An invasion from either lizard, snails and pests and others has become a major challenge and drawback for me against growing spinach species of vegetables here.
Although it is really surprising to see that none of the Jute mallow was affected.

Since I have no idea of a possible solution and how to successfully grow spinach in this daring condition, I will like to replace it with other species of veggies and suggestions as to what I can plant are welcome even though it will be a difficult task to find new species of veggies as the seeds to the veggies been sold here are limited to just few. I do hope that I can find some other useful and important vegetables to take the place of these spinach.

One of the things I have learnt recently is how to grow onions and hopefully I will be out sourcing for more seeds to play and grow some onions at home here.
