I am more than delighted to tell you that the vegetables I have planted barely 4days ago have now all germinated. It is one joy for a farmer or gardener to have some quality seeds that will sprout at the right time and produce quality vegetables

When I started this gardening journey Last year I had encountered a lot of challenges and one of it was a poor quality of planted seeds. After planting only about 10-40% of the seeds often germinate and this is often scantily done across the bed. Having lamented about poor seed storage process done by local farmers that affects the quality of the seeds.

This time around I learnt by experience going straight to the Agric center here, I purchased some healthy,engineered and properly stored seeds which I had planted and in just 4days I'm privilege to behold about 90% of the spouted vegetables here.
Having stayed indoors for about 24hours due to health constraint I didn't witness when the started popping up their heads and first leaves only to come out this morning and we now have this.

Three different species of vegetables were planted, I had about 2germinating and still expecting the third one which happens to be the Jute mallow.

Starting with these 3 more will be added to the garden as I make progress with these. Some tomatoes and Chilli will be added soon, while I have the fluted pumpkins here trying it's best to acclimatize with the new environment ever since it was transplanted here some 5days ago.

My bitter leaf tree stand and the scent leaf both survived the dry season and have grown new leaves again. They are a perfect addition to my gardens. I love scent leaves and it works well with minimizing indigestion and related stomach issues while the bitter leaf is good in treating fever and feverish conditions.

Gradually more species are been added to my little garden and in no distant time everywhere will be filled with colorful varieties of vegetables and we could have some fresh vegetables supply constantly.

Agriculture Engineering has conducted so many profitable research that has been helpful to us as farmers. We have better seed and higher yields at the end of every planting session.
The life cycle of different crops have been reduce or halved in some cases such that planting and Harvesting is done within short durations. Higher yields makes it possible to grow and harvest substancial amount of crops within a short space and I am enjoying all of this benefits in my farming exercise.
