RE: Adventures In Homesteading (Day 176)

I keep praying that you get something better to live in or a place to move into for the winter.

I know you are careful so I won't say it, but the thought is there.

I am sure you are worried about doing it but I believe you will figure it out, that is for sure.

Sort:

I understand but really I can winter just fine in my current setup now that the tent is wrapped in polyethylene sheeting. As long as I can keep getting propane I can keep the place heated just fine.

It is just cold weather and not something I am overly concerned about given my setup, that I have electricity (and batteries for backup) and all the gear that I have on hand. Worse comes to worse and I run out of propane and the grid goes down... I will just get under the blankets with the dogs and still be fine.

My best option is to just sell this place and right now I have the paperwork getting mailed to me by a buyer so that is already in motion.

With the way the land prices have skyrocketed I probably will not find another place that I can afford any time soon so I will probably find a caretaking gig to hold me over.
