The football season is already well underway. We even have had an international break to throw a spanner into the works!!

If you saw my last post a few weeks ago Tengo Rangers are Fluffing Awesome and read it, then you know that the awesome Tengo Rangers were indeed fluffing awesome upto September 26th!

I duly joined and this is the first of a few periodic game upadate posts over the course of the season into May 2026!

Have we kept our scintillating early season form up, or we have a bit of Hive and nosedived? Let's find out! One thing is for sure, there will be no abused DHF funds in this sporting game lol.

Standings so far

I am in Hive Division 2, which is a head to head league and the top 5 I believe get promoted into the smaller but more lucrative Hive Division 1.

I am sitting 4th, yeah baby I am pretty chuffed with that! If the season was stopped now, then I would be promoted lol.

When we last did our review, we were also 4th after playing 5 matches, so I am still chuffed about that.

However, let's have a wee look at the table.

9 wins out of 11 fluffing matches!

Of course, I will probably jinx it now, but rock on that is awesome stats.

The overall Hive league

20th compared to 16th a month ago.

The reason I have slipped up is that I had a horrendous week last week, but somehow I won my head to head!

I think these were the two lowest scores in the league!

What a jammy bastard!

I am lots of leagues but another one I want to keep tabs on, is another blockchain one and that is

Farcaster Fantasy League

In 55th and again last week has screwed that ranking lol!

Farcaster is on Base and they have many participants and the chain itself is much active when it comes to sports micro chat.

Nevertheless it would be cool if we could show them Hivers know how to party so to speak!!!

My squad

This squad was doing great, I have made some cockups, I sold Chelsea's Pedro immediately before he started scoring. I solf Grealish last week and bought Sarr after debating about Mbueno so we go again!

With the new scoring system in place for this season, for the first time defensive players can earn their keep in fpl!

I do have a well balanced squad and I have sold Salah since last update!

PB stands for Points on the Bench, ie your substitutes. I was leaving too many points on the bench so I need to play that card soon.

Early days

Of course the season lasts 38 weeks and so you don't win it in the first 10 weeks, but you sure as hell can lose it.

I am quietly confident of keeping up my progress and mounting a real challenge for the top places in Hive Division 2!
