A few days ago I read in a post by @good-karma that videos can be embedded with @ecency's editor. Inspired by this, I ventured into the world of video editing with Ecency and iMovie. In doing so, my journey took me back to the enchanting Hardtwald, a place full of memories of my youth. Although I did not succeed in publishing my first video using Ecency's video function, I did not give up after hours of trying. Instead, I decided to prove my creativity and willingness to learn on YouTube.
Vor ein paar Tagen las ich in einem Post von @good-karma, dass Videos mit dem Editor von @ecency eingebettet werden können. Davon inspiriert, habe ich mich in die Welt der Videobearbeitung mit Ecency und iMovie gewagt. Dabei führte mich meine Reise zurück in den zauberhaften Hardtwald, ein Ort voller Jugenderinnerungen. Obwohl es mir nicht gelang, mein erstes Video mit der Videofunktion von Ecency zu veröffentlichen, gab ich auch nach stundenlangen Versuchen nicht auf. Stattdessen beschloss ich, meine Kreativität und meinen Lernwillen auf YouTube unter Beweis zu stellen.
The beauty of the Hardtwald:
The "Hardtwald" refers to a forest region in Germany, mainly located in the southern Rhine-Neckar district in Baden-Württemberg. The Hardtwald covers an area of approx. 2,500 ha and is part of the Upper Rhine Plain. The area is known for its varied nature with forests, lakes, wetlands and agricultural land. Part of the Hardtwald is designated as a nature reserve. This serves to protect the diverse habitats and maintain the ecological balance in the region. From majestic trees to hidden paths, there is much to discover here. In my video, I tried to capture the breathtaking atmosphere of the forest, accompanied by background music from the iMovie app.

Der "Hardtwald" ist ein Waldgebiet in Deutschland, das hauptsächlich im südlichen Rhein-Neckar-Kreis in Baden-Württemberg liegt. Der Hardtwald umfasst eine Fläche von ca. 2.500 ha und ist Teil der Oberrheinischen Tiefebene. Das Gebiet ist bekannt für seine vielfältige Natur mit Wäldern, Seen, Feuchtgebieten und landwirtschaftlichen Flächen. Ein Teil des Hardtwalds ist als Naturschutzgebiet ausgewiesen. Dies dient dem Schutz der vielfältigen Lebensräume und dem Erhalt des ökologischen Gleichgewichts in der Region. Von majestätischen Bäumen bis hin zu versteckten Pfaden gibt es hier viel zu entdecken. In meinem Video habe ich versucht, die atemberaubende Atmosphäre des Waldes einzufangen, begleitet von Hintergrundmusik aus der iMovie-App.
While driving through the forest, I came across a hidden lake whose water was so clear that you could watch the fish on the edge of the shore. This tranquil oasis in the middle of the forest added an extra dimension of beauty to my tour.
Während der Fahrt durch den Wald stieß ich auf einen versteckten See, dessen Wasser so klar war, dass man die Fische am Uferrand beobachten konnte. Diese ruhige Oase inmitten des Waldes verlieh meiner Tour eine zusätzliche Dimension der Schönheit.
The Eremitage
in Waghäusel, a village in the Hardtwald, there is a historic castle from the 17th century. The castle is characterized by its Baroque architecture and impressive design. The facade is richly decorated and reflects the taste of the time.

Die Erimentage in Waghäusel, einem Dorf im Hardtwald, ist ein historisches Schloss aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Das Schloss zeichnet sich durch seine barocke Architektur und beeindruckende Gestaltung aus. Die Fassade ist reich verziert und spiegelt den Geschmack der damaligen Zeit wider.
The Eremitage served various purposes over the centuries, including as the summer residence of the electors. Later as a retirement residence for priests. Today, the castle is used for cultural events, concerts and exhibitions and is a popular destination for visitors who want to explore the historical architecture and rich history of the region.
Die Eremitage diente im Laufe der Jahrhunderte verschiedenen Zwecken, unter anderem als Sommerresidenz der Kurfürsten. Später diente sie als Ruhesitz für Priester. Heute wird das Schloss für kulturelle Veranstaltungen, Konzerte und Ausstellungen genutzt und ist ein beliebtes Ziel für Besucher, die die historische Architektur und die reiche Geschichte der Region erkunden möchten.
Willingness to learn and creativity:
My first encounter with video editing was marked by obstacles. The video on Ecency's video function could not be published, but I was not discouraged. With my creativity, I finally managed to upload the video to YouTube.
Lernbereitschaft und Kreativität:
Meine erste Begegnung mit der Videobearbeitung war von Hindernissen geprägt. Das Video in der Videofunktion von Ecency konnte nicht veröffentlicht werden, aber ich ließ mich nicht entmutigen. Mit meiner Kreativität gelang es mir schließlich, das Video auf YouTube hochzuladen.
The Hardtwald will always be a place of inspiration for me. My first video project may not be perfect, but it reflects my progress, my willingness to learn and my tireless effort. Let's discover the world together, learn and not be discouraged by difficulties.
Der Hardtwald wird für mich immer ein Ort der Inspiration sein. Mein erstes Videoprojekt mag nicht perfekt sein, aber es spiegelt meinen Fortschritt, meine Lernbereitschaft und meinen unermüdlichen Einsatz wider. I'm glad to hear that it's working out now. I have invested a lot of time. After the post was not published via the schedule function, I looked for the error. In doing so, I found that the video was no longer available. I uploaded and embedded it again, but to no avail. Despite numerous attempts and contact via Discord, I finally had to give up. In the process, I discovered that others were also having similar problems. I then decided to write the post again without the video. Unfortunately, I could not insert any more pictures. I had originally uploaded the video because I had no experience with video editing. So I looked on Youtube to see how it works there. I then published the result in this post. Since I couldn't insert any more pictures either, I used PeakD's editor. Thanks for the info and have a nice weekend.
Ok, thanks for sharing details. Sorry for inconvenience, we will improve the experience in future updates. You see for video uploads, we rely on 3speak service and there was few hiccups with integration. We are improving and pushing fixes when we discover issues.
It's all good, we're all always learning. I'm glad you guys are making the effort to make features like this available to the community. In any case, I'll keep my eye on the ball and look forward to more functions.
