Halal bihal is mutual forgiveness after fasting during Ramadan. Usually halal bihalah is held in places such as auditoriums, halls and others which are organized by a group of people. Halal bihalah is also interpreted as a form of friendship.
However, this year's Eid al-Fitr holiday was Halal Bihalal which was organized by the Pidie Youth Caucus which was held at the Lhok Mamuni tourist attraction, Batee District, Pidie Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. The Pidie Youth Caucus itself is a forum for youth organizations in Pidie Regency.
This Halal Bihalal event was also attended by Pidie Regent Ir. Wahyudi Adisiswanto. M.Si, chairman of the Regional Representative Council and its members, to the Pidie district office, religious leaders and the people of Batee District. Regent officials and invited guests apart from attending religious lectures led by local religious figures, public discussions about the future direction of Pidie development also provided compensation for orphans in Batee sub-district
Before the lunch, the Regent's officials and the invited guests also performed midday prayers at the former mosque inherited from the Aceh kingdom. According to local residents, the mosque was destroyed when the tsunami hit in 2004. After the prayer, the Regent's officials and invited guests had lunch with various menus provided by the organizing committee, such as beef, grilled chicken, grilled fish and various typical Acehnese drinks.
