Hive Stock Images : Had fun with sand crabs

in Stock Images3 years ago (edited)

When I was a child in a remote village, the arrival of a stranger from the city was an important and interesting event. We love seeing a stranger's clean, awesome and luxurious appearance. But we didn't dare to be so close, we just continued to watch him from a certain distance. When the stranger turns to us, we go to hide behind trees or whatever wall can cover us but still provide an opening for us to see him. If he called us, we would have run instantly!😁

Somehow the memory returned to my mind when I took pictures of sand crabs on a beach. When I come to a location where bayhops or beach morning glories (Ipomoea pes-caprae) grow, at first, I didn't expect to see them there. That's because usually they will immediately hide into the holes they make in the sand. Initially I found their footprints there, but the next time I saw some of them run away and then stopped, and seemed to be waiting. If I make a noticeable move, they immediately run again, but not to hide into the hole. They hide behind plants that are tolerant of salt and survive in the salt air.

This then became an interesting game for me and a fun thing. Their behavior is what brings out memories of that childhood in my mind. Somewhat similar to my behavior towards strangers as a child. But it was fun and I was finally able to create a collection of sand crabs for stock images. Hopefully that can please you, and you can use it all.
