Discussion of the week

SUMARY OF THE MONTH (1).png

We are proposing our community members to join us this week and do a post that answers the following question 👇

20230320_015216_0000.png

This week we have two (2) prompt suggestions and we would love everyone to share experiences either of themselves or that of others close to them, and if in any case fictional as long as it fulfills our goal of awareness creation.

First Topic

  1. Share your experiences during pregnancy, motherhood and how can we learn from them, good or sad
  2. Help us create more awareness about FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION. A terrible act often practiced to no known health benefits in many part of the world till date only leading to chronic genital pain, infections and difficult child birth.

These prompts are as easy as they go but if you need some ideas on how to start,

Here are some suggestions to help those creative minds:

  • You can write about your first pregnancy experience and if you want to, compare with your last.

  • You may not have been pregnant before, you can write about what you think about pregnancy and the experiences you are scared about.

  • What is your view on Assisted Reproduction options such as Invitro fertilization, Artificial insemination and surrogacy?

  • Will you adopt a child if you had the chance? Will you prefer that to Pregnancy and Child birth?

  • Vaginal Delivery OR Caesarian Section, Which do you prefer and Why?

  • How is Female Genital Mutilation dangerous to the Woman?

  • The experiences of women who have undergone female genital mutilation, and their efforts to raise awareness about the practice and promote change in their communities.

  • The cultural and social factors that contribute to the persistence of female genital mutilation in certain regions of the world.

  • The legal and ethical implications of female genital mutilation, and efforts to combat the practice through legislation and education
