This isn't really one of my typical blog posts...It's more of a personal journal entry. I hope you guys don't get too upset about the lack of 'lesson' but I figured I should share this regardless!
Over the past 6 months or so, my wife and I have been having some pretty big 'life changing' discussions.
I was presented with an opportunity to go in a new direction for my life and after a lot of talks, prayers and counsel...I'm beginning that journey tomorrow morning.
First up, the bad news...The CryptoManiacs podcast will have a new time each week. Because of this new change, I won't be around my computer at the current 1pm time slot on Tuesdays and Fridays.
I've already spoken to @taskmaster4450 and he knows that the schedule will be changing, and I'll know exactly when I'll be able to get the show done by tomorrow evening.
The good news...That's all that is going to really change right now lol. I'll still be posting on Hive. I'll still be working with ListNerds & Veews. I'll still be bugging people in the CTP Tribe. I'll still be building on Hive.
But I'm going back to school :)
Crazy right...45 years old, and doing this mid-life switch-a-roo in an industry I always thought I'd love to pursue, but up until 6 months ago...Didn't think it would be possible.
I'll dive more into my new adventure and journey in upcoming blog posts because I'm sure there will be LOTS to share.
But it's weird...In my heart of hearts, this feels like it's well overdue. It's not something that is common place for someone to 'add' or change career paths half way through their lives...But I think of this as just that...An addition!
And the best part, it won't hurt my online business or Hive journey as well! I might even get to dedicate more time to it actually lol
So here I am, going to bed SUPER early on a Sunday night because this guy has class at 7:45 am lol. I feel like a kid again, and very excited for the challenges ahead.
No real 'message' in this post, more of an update in Jongo's life and something that I will be concentrating on over the next few months. So if you don't see me around at the normal times, just give it an hour or two...I'll pop up and be in your feeds later that day :)

There is actually a few guys in my class around my age. Of course it;'s mostly kids in the 20's or so, but you can see where grown folks are showing up!

Saturn is transiting in Aquarius from 17th January. I am not at all surprised that alot of people would be starting their new journey. All of us would have some changes while saturn forces us in that context. I don't know if you believe in it but I started to believe in all this since pandemic lol.

Do it man, it is a nice feeling. After I worked 10 years as an accountant, I decided to change everything. move to another country and work something completely different, interacting with people insteasd of being in a room with my computer. And guess what, I do not have any regrets.
