RE: When I Tip, You Tip, We Tip

in The CTP Swarmlast year (edited)

I absolutely love what you're doing there. And I appreciate that you invest the effort to make this understandable to me. To prove my appreciation, I do tip your answer with 10 Hive.

So here's the deal, I do want to have an honest conversation here. It took me a couple of minutes to read that Super Page and I gained nothing from it. It wasn't even entertaining. Why should that be content of value for me personally?

Back in 2011/12/13 I watch a lot of PewDiePie and as "a thanks", I also bought some merch and digital stuff he published. I was a paying Member of 3Speak in the early days, later I used Vimm a couple of times and they gave me nice technical support while setting it up - that made me sign up for a monthly 10$ for about a year. I enjoyed Tim Pool from time to time over the last years, so I bought his two singles on Apple Music. Another example is that I did read some mangas online as a young nerd, and later in life, I bought the physical books without reading them again - out of appreciation.

If I like something and enjoy it, I'll give back and I'm certain others are the same. High-value content attracts appreciation. And I'm still waiting for someone to show me content on Hive that I can appreciate from the bottom of my heart, without having to put it into context or talk it up.

Sort:

I appreciate the tip, sir. Thank you so much. You made my day. 🙌

About the super page. When the idea was brought I tried to imagine what it was he was looking for.

So I created that post as a sort of question. I was indirectly, asking him if that's the kind of content he had in mind.

Coming back to your observations. Thanks for your honesty, but, what do you think I could have done or anyone reading this could do to make the super pages more interesting, and entertaining, even though we are trying to achieve a good ranking position on Google.

Your question is, what can make technical content great & enjoyable? :)

Yes, sir.

I'll tell you after I found the universal answer to that.

Meanwhile, I'd suggest these things out of my head. The technical details should be challenging and deep enough to reward my attention with a gain of knowledge or perspective. Some Elements of the presentation could be more graphic, to showcase certain types of data or information in an entertaining and beautiful way. The post should reference up-to-date sources, to show me its active relevance and that it's founded in credible sources who did the footwork.

Technical presentations can never be overly organized, visually as well as with columns and paragraphs there's always room for improvement. The better organized a long post looks, the easier it is to stick around till the end.

Now as a Cherrrrrrry on top, I would add some Examples of interesting happenings. Let me put one down for you. Bitmain is a China-based Company and Mining Equipment producer, now China banned Bitcoin mining and also is hunting for the former COE of Bitmain for "legal reasons". There's a lot to tell about that and dozens of articles and videos have been made in the past. You could just drop some juicy details or a hint in that direction to spice the text up.

You get what I mean?

You get what I mean?

Yes, I most certainly do. I'll try my best to learn to work around this. You have shared a great suggestion today and I learned from you too. Thank you.

Btw your English is very polished, I mean in this comment interaction with me. What tools do you use or are you the type of writer that naturally writes high class all the time?

Haha...I write every day of my life. Nothing more. I guess I improved as much as I kept writing. Thanks for your appreciation.

You still could show some post that is actually worth a proper TIP :)

I'm very uncomfortable to talk to, ain't I? Let me apologize to you, it seems you are polite, well-behaved and compassionate.

I know I am late. I owe you an apology

Here we go

https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@cmplxty/credit-card-strategies

I am sharing this post with you because I could relate to using cards that offer cashback and travel rewards, although, my country doesn't support credit cards yet, I do have an app that gives me cashback that I can use to make a recharge or free transfer. And it does resemble his credit card journey.

Wait, let me not give you spoilers. Go check it out. And I do hope this meets your criteria.

I do follow CmplXty myself actually :D

But no, that's not the gold standard and it's nice for you the realize that yourself. There's close to no high-profile content on this chain because the curation trails never incentive them. They are like cancer, build little echo chambers, make their own rules and start to transform the market. The Markt should be freeeeeeeeeeed, release the Kranken.

Now, you have given me a real assignment. :)

I'll find one for you. Soon.

I'm very uncomfortable to talk to, ain't I?

No, no, no, of course not. You are you. And that's all that matters.

Very generous of you.
