Fireworks Photography in Linz

From time to time there are some public fireworks in Linz during festival season in summer and I really like taking pictures of these fireworks since it always looks pretty nice. Due to the Covid Pandemic we had a lot less fireworks the last year and I couldn't take any pictures of it. Since I know live in the city and not some kilometers outside of the city it would be a lot easier for me to attend the fireworks. We'll see how it develops this year and if I will be able to take some nice pictures this year again. Because of security reasons all the public fireworks in Linz are above the danube.

I have already tried several places for photographing the fireworks in Linz but, I think the Castle of Linz is one of the best spot since you have this nice view with the Ars Electronica center on the left side of the danube, the "Nibelungenbrücke" and the Lentos at the right side of the danube. And all the explosions are somewhat in the middle of the danube.

Nice shot taken of the fire works

Thanks a lot, yes it is a good spot up there at the castle of Linz, But I want to find some other nice spots so I don't always have the same angle. and background in the pictures.

excelentes fotos me gustaron mucho

We always had fireworks in Prague for the new year until the new municipality canceled it. I hope that in two years' time the elections will end and the new ones will be more clever.

I know that fireworks can be disturbing for birds, dogs, cats and nearly any animal because the don't know why suddenly there are so many loud explosions. And it also produces a lot of garbage. Eventhough I know it is pretty bad for the nature and environment I like to see one from time to time.
