Fly Freak aerial fitness studio session!

What’s up, gang? I’m coming up for air. No better way than sitting down for a post on Hive. This place has been on my mind a lot lately. I’ve been thinking about how we can push the blockchain to the next level. How we can capitalize on the NFT craze and better the many communities across the entire platform. I’ll never forget that it was Hive that introduced me to blockchain to begin with. It was my red pill, and as I was educated, I found so many incredible artists along the way.

I’ll save my ideas for a later post. This one isn’t going to be heavy. Just some light photos I recently shot with a friend of mine in Minneapolis. Hayley and I go way back. I’ve known her for almost 8 years. Similarly to how I feel in to the EUC [electric unicycle] obsession, she found aerial yoga. These giant silks suspended from the ceiling and Hayley ties herself within them, spinning, climbing and falling in a controlled descent. Is really is an incredible feat of strength and beauty to behold.

I brought my drone with me for some of the work she’d be performing. I wanted to capture video of her spinning and gliding, but from angles that couldn’t typically be caught with a regular camera. It was a rewarding challenge, but I was nervous. The space between the other silks, Hayley and the walls was about 6 - 8”. Nerve wracking, but worth it. I ended the session with a few portraits with the new Nikon Z6II mirrorless camera. Hope you enjoy them.

That is really cool. Yeah, those are pretty tight quarters. Especially give the drone that you have. I think it all turned out really well! I hear you about the whole NFT thing. It has been on my mind a lot lately too. Especially when you see all the news about the ETH side and you wonder why people aren't flocking to WAX to avoid the fees!

Things on my list that didn't happen because of COVID: Aerial Classes at Fly Freak. For real, seems like a natural progression from climbing. Now I'm way too out of shape for that. Hoping for 2023 I guess. haha.

Aerial yoga, this sounds so fun, she is probably super flexible
