The common crane

Hey everyone!
This is really exciting!
Every year I hear the calls of the common crane in the sky, as they migrate from Europe and pass through Israel.
They are very hard to get near, this photo was taken from very far away!

    For real? If they migrate from Europe and pass through Isreal, it means that Europe and Isreal are not far from each other. I've never been there but I am just guessing.

    Am I right?

    Well some birds travel very far away, and Israel is sitting on the shore of the Mediterranean, so yeah its kinda close.
    I went to Amsterdam last year and it took about 5 hour flight.
