Today I share with you my first participation in this great contest that has caught my attention and I wanted to participate with a very good song, but before I start I will explain a little bit the context of the cover that I worked for today's song and how I did it!

¿Quién es Tania de Venezuela?
Después de esa grabación se produce el primer viraje de su carrera. Tania se integra a “El Club del Clan”, programa televisivo por el que pasaron Trino Mora, Nancy Ramos, y hasta el grupo Los Darts. El Pop hacía de las suyas en toda la región. Chucho Avellanet en Puerto Rico, Palito Ortega en Argentina, Trini López en EEUU-México y Roberto Carlos en Brasil surgieron en ese entonces.

Who is Tania from Venezuela?
Tania Salazar Rodriguez was born in Caracas on November 16, 1952, although some researchers argue that it was on November 11, being the daughter of Jesus Salazar Meneses and Gloria Rodriguez, who had arrived in the Venezuelan capital from the island state of Nueva Esparta, in eastern Venezuela.
At the age of 11 he recorded his first 45rpm and when the television channel 8- CVTV opened its doors, he went there. He was 12 years old. The young girl did not go unnoticed and the record label Vega, which had made successful recordings, including Juan Vicente Torrealba, Adilia Castillo and Billo Frómeta signed her for a year. Thus was released the LP “Campiña mía”, with traditional and popular Venezuelan music. It is in this album where, in addition to Pajarillo and El Cardenal, there is the hit Gracias a Dios, by the Argentine Mercedes Simone. “Gracias...Thank God that my heart is full of joys/ I am like a bird that always sings/ I am spring perfumed with illusion.”
For that first recording Tania was accompanied by none other than maestro Rafael Ochoa's ensemble, the same one that accompanied Eleazar Agudo, Antonio Heredia, and Cazador Novato among others.
After that recording, the first turning point in her career took place. Tania joined “El Club del Clan”, a television program that included Trino Mora, Nancy Ramos, and even the group Los Darts. Pop was making waves throughout the region. Chucho Avellanet in Puerto Rico, Palito Ortega in Argentina, Trini Lopez in the US-Mexico and Roberto Carlos in Brazil emerged at that time.
Tania went from Venezuelan music to ballads, to pop, continued on television screens and was called to join Los Naipes, the legendary group founded and directed by Luis Cruz, talented composer, vocalist and director, author of Cumpleaños Feliz, La Luna y el Toro, Ingenua (Dumbi dumbi) and Déjalo que se vaya, among other songs. Los Naipes had memorable voices such as those of Mirla Castellanos, Mirtha Pérez, Nilda López and Tania Salazar

Creo que efectivamente tu portada ha llamado mucho la atención, me parece súper apropiada para tu interpretación que por cierto pienso que lo han hecho muy bien, con entusiasmo y alegría.
Pues desde mi punto de vista, es como ya había dicho, hacer ese tipo de portada no es mi estilo, pero quise diseñar algo diferente para el concurso y fue la que elegí. Me alegra saber que te gustó mi participación, saludos y éxitos! 🎵
