Hola a todo Hive y a esta gran comunidad, Siempre un placer estar aquí. Para esta semana traigo una canción increíble de la banda de Grunge americana Alice in Chains, una canción muy acústica y con un trabajo instrumental sumamente grandioso, la interpretación y su letra no son mucho menos, pero si hablamos del toque nostálgico y semioscuro de las guitarras que se aprecian hay que hablar en mayúscula, potencia de cuerdas de aceros con un bajo predominando toda la canción y un solo de guitarra eléctrica muy de Grunge, caracterizando el estilo de la banda. Nutshell cuenta con una letra muy original, en la que se muestra una composición no tan poética como profunda, dejándole ese impulso a su instrumental, esta combinación deja una sensación de soledad, pero de la soledad que deja la fama en algún modo, como la privacidad es arrancada por un don, dejando bien clara la necesidad de ser uno mismo y la importancia de serlo, ya que el cantante da una estocada con mi frase favorita de esta canción..."Si no puedo ser yo mismo, me sentiría mejor muerto", una frase cruda pero muy sensible y creíble. Mas que invitar a la depresión por su contenido, creo que Nutshell nos llama a querer ser nosotros mismos bajo cualquier circunstancia, a la autenticidad del ser a pesar de cualquier sentimiento, ya sea soledad, rabia, alegría incluso, nos invita a querer guardad tan bien las cosas importantes que no puedan ser arrancadas por los demás, y que hacer lo que te gusta a veces puede quitarte algo tan importante como la privacidad. Este sencillo cover que les traigo, un poco lejos de la original, es una de esas canciones que me gusta disfrutar al máximo, aunque se me hace un poco difícil tocarla aun por mi poca experiencia con la guitarra, pero hoy quería dejarla en este increíble lugar, donde todos compartimos y descubrimos música.
