Hello hello, Hivers! Javier here with splendid weather in Caracas, Venezuela, bringing you another edition of Mindful Life. In this curation, I've chosen posts directly from our own community whose activity has been increasing for a while now (we're very pleased about this) and more importantly, with great quality content that we can all learn a lot from.

The contributions I chose for this edition are focused on healing, either through particular practices, specific foods/medicines, resting and artistic creation. They're all lovely and their authors deserve your engagement, so drop them a vote and a comment!

I've never owned a pet nor have I had to deal with sick animals, which is why I find this post by @owasco so relevant, because I'll definitely have need to this kind of information later. Poor Jimmy was feeling unwell, but through love and dedication, his owner managed to get him back on track while also discovering some useful data about medication and diet.

I want to extend a warm welcome to @curatorcat for his first post in the community! In here, he assumes the point of view of one of his kittens, a gorgeous black panther, and explores the enormous healing power of having these animals close by. I've experienced this power personally in many occasions in my life, which is why I plan to have a pet cat soon!

And how about healing just by doing nothing and letting the body process whatever it needs to process? Our society in general is so consumed by productivity and money-making that we scarcely realize how little rest we allow ourselves until we're old enough to notice the repercussions. @olaunlimited gives us a reminder of how necessary and useful it is to sleep well.

We craft our reality with our thoughts. They define how we see ourselves and others, how we approach the challenges of life and everything else. This is why we must be very, very aware of what we think, when and how. In this post, @tibaire delves into the topic as well as how it connects with our emotions, our desires, our relationships and our work.

In a similar note, @phoenixwren gives us an extremely important perspective about belief. What we believe shapes our thinking and our feeling, and once we let it settle into our being, it becomes a part of what we think of as our identity, thus limiting us to a certain way of life. We must always be mindful of this and question our opinions and perspectives as often as possible.

I finish up this curation with another lovely post by @alchemystones, @denmarkguy's artistic project. He's come to the conclusion that he needs to boost his blogging, not just to benefit from the interaction, but also as a way to record and explore his creative process, something that I can fully reflect upon, as I'm also opening up my artistic endeavor to the world through many platforms.
