That sounds like a really lovely trip and has inspired me to get out my mat and do some yoga before breakfast :)
Yoga can be so transformative, I managed to improve a disc injury/problem through 2 years of morning yoga stretching. Although the problem never went away through yoga practice... it was improved throughout that time. I should get back to it again.
P.s. those pictures of Portugal have just made me smile while looking out my window at a rather foggy winters day.
