My First Time On Foodies - Introduction

in Foodies Bee Hive2 years ago (edited)

Hi! This is my first time posting on foodies, that's why I decided to write some type of introduction. Although I won't go into details I can reveal that I am a male in my mid-twenties and I love to cook (just not too often).

I am a big fan of Gordon Ramsay and Matty Matheson. Italian and Asian (mostly Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Indian) food is what I enjoy the most. I am the type of guy that is not afraid of trying strange things, I can eat a fly maggot, fried insects, fermented food, etc. The only things that make me disgusted are balut, blood soups, and any other similar dirty dishes.

Today I am presenting to you some of the dishes I cooked this year which photos I still have on my phone. Sorry for how some of them look very messy, but I was taking the photos just so myself, to remember what I already cooked.

Let's start with pizza

Olives, tuna, corn, capers

Olives, tuna, capers and the other half is just cheese and shrimps

All of that pizza was made using the recipe from Adam Ragusea (YT) - "Easier pan pizza in a non-stick — browned base and crispy rim"

Now some other dishes

Plate ready to roll spring rolls forgot to take some photos after preparation

Curry from my own recipe (I like it spicy and sour)

Kimchi Rice. I could eat that every single day, but the kimchi is quite expensive to buy.

Now for desserts

Chocolate dessert, recipe from a german yt channel - "Do you have milk and chocolate? Delicious dessert! NO flour and NO oven, NO gelatin!"

Panna cotta with raspberries, blueberries, and whipped cream.

I don't remember. Definitely white chocolate on the top and crushed biscuits on the bottom

Nutella Buns "Nutella Stuffed Buns Recipe" from The Cooking Foodie (YT)

Same buns but this time with Nutella and bananas inside and some chocolate chips

Cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately, I burned more than half of them

Caramel, peach cake. "Peach Upside-Down Cake with Cognac Caramel" from Food & Style (YT)

And that would be all. As a bonus my favorite sweets from Turkey:
