Finally I'm back to writing here after not writing for more than a year. It feels so good to be back. Moreover, I will share the best experience of visiting one of the cool noodle restaurants.

After marriage, I lived separately from my parents. However, a few days ago, precisely during New Year 2024, my parents visited my house and invited us all to eat together. At that time, I had no choice where we would eat together. After looking at social media, we chose to go to a restaurant close to my house.
This is my first time visiting here, before that I didn't even know that there was a restaurant and cafe as beautiful as this. Around lunch time, my family and I went to the restaurant. The location is not far from my current house. For your information, Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi has several branches in other cities in Indonesia. So, wherever you are, you can look for other Sedjuk restaurants.
My first impression is… homey! The atmosphere at Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi is really cool as the name suggests in Indonesian. Even though the location is in a small alley that is not visible from the main road, this is what Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi excels at. Like hidden gems restaurants, I immediately liked this place and hope to come back again later.
Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi has a large area with several spots built in the style of traditional Javanese or Sundanese houses or a kind of open gazebo where visitors can choose their own seat. The tables arranged consist of 4-6 chairs. It can be seen that this restaurant is suitable for family events. However, if it's just the two of you, that's no problem.
The vines and trees around the dining area are also one of the attractions that make this place feel cool and calming. In terms of atmosphere, Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi offers a homey impression that makes you feel like you are at grandma's house.
Who loves noodles like us?
At Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi, the main menu is noodles with various toppings and flavors. Me, my husband, my parents, and my first younger sister ordered noodles, but my youngest sister ordered pasta. We ordered different menus so we could try each other.
The menu I chose was blackpepper mushroom & roasted chicken noodles. The spicy taste of blackpepper and the addition of chili oil make this noodle one of the tastiest noodles I've ever eaten. The chicken and mushroom pieces are also quite large, making it different from the noodles I usually eat.
One of the orders that tempted me was my youngest sister's. He ordered aglio olio roasted chicken with cheese sauce. I'm a cheese lover and I loved it. The taste of the cheese really matches the spaghetti, the chicken is also plentiful and seasoned so that the taste blends in the mouth. Maybe, if I visit here again, I will order this pasta too.
For the drink, my sisters and I chose to drink free vanilla iced tea from uploading a photo or video about Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi to Instagram Story. It's really profitable, isn't it? This kind of compliment drink is not offered by many other restaurants, but from a marketing perspective, this is quite beneficial for both parties. Customers get free beverages, and the restaurant gets free promotions from customers.
Every time I go to a new place, my husband always wants to try food or drinks with unique names or ones he has never tried before. That's why, that day he ordered Tinder a.k.a Timun (cucumber) Lavender. Honestly, I've never tried lavender tea either and this is the first time I've tried it. This drink adds sparkling soda, so the lavender taste fades a little. However, the taste is still unique and delicious.
Overall, all the food here is delicious and I'm happy to be able to come here. What is my favorite is the calming atmosphere. That is the best. The price of the food is a lil bit pricey, but worth it. So, it doesn't matter.
