Ketapang seed recipe, sweet and crunchy homemade cookies


Foodies friends, how are you? I'm sorry that I'm only able to share a recipe again this time after being busy with my daily activities for quite some time. However, this time I want to share a recipe that is easy, delicious, and definitely loved by many, namely Ketapang Seeds. Let's try making Ketapang Seeds, a snack that is not only delicious, but also easy to make at home!

Ingredients needed:

1 kg wheat flour

4 eggs

300 grams margarine

1 liter of cooking oil

25 tablespoons of sugar

Steps to make Ketapang Seeds:

Beat Eggs and Sugar The first step is to beat the eggs and sugar until they are white and bubbly. This process is important so that the Ketapang Seed snack we make later has a light and crunchy texture. Whisk using a mixer or whisk manually until the dough is fluffy.
Add Margarine After the eggs and sugar are completely mixed, add margarine to the dough. Stir until margarine is mixed with flour and sugar. This margarine serves to give softness and appetizing aroma to Ketapang Seeds.
Pour the flour little by little into the dough while stirring to mix. To stir you can use a spatula or can also use your hands until the dough is completely mixed and becomes smooth (the dough is not sticky or elastic) to make it easier, you can also use a mix or blender.

Roll the Dough After the dough is smooth, take a pinch of dough and round it, then roll it to form a small rod. Do not be too big or small so that the fried results are evenly cooked and have the right crunchy texture.
Cut into Small Pieces After rolling, cut the dough into small pieces, according to your taste. They can be cut into matching pieces or slightly larger pieces, depending on the size of the snack you want.

Fry Ketapang Seeds Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the Ketapang seeds slowly to prevent burning. This frying process requires patience, Foodies. Do not rush, let this snack cook perfectly until golden brown.
Drain and Serve Once cooked, remove and drain the Ketapang Seeds on wax paper to reduce excess oil. Let it rest for a moment so that the snack is crisper and ready to be served.
