Lately I've been trying to diversify what I eat, so today I decided to make yeast cakes. They passed the taste test, so here I come with the obligatory recipe.
Ingredients for 8 servings:
CAKE:
250 g milk
100 g sugar
30 g crumbled fresh yeast
2 eggs
500 g wheat flour
80 g butter (soft, cut into pieces)
pinch of salt
CRUMBLE:
25 g wheat flour
25 g sugar
20 g butter (cold, cut into pieces)
TO GREASE THE YEAST CRUMBS:
2 tbsp milk
1 egg white
ADDITIONS:
blueberries
pistachio cream
white chocolate
PREPARATION:
Pour the warm milk into a bowl, then add the sugar, eggs and yeast. Mix thoroughly. Add the flour, salt and butter and knead into a dough. Leave it to rise for 45 minutes.
Sprinkle some flour on the work surface and grease your hands. Take the dough out of the bowl and divide into 8 parts. Leave it to rise for about 25 minutes.
Knead the middle of the yeast cakes and brush them with egg white mixed with milk.
Add the toppings to the yeast cakes. I added pistachio cream, blueberries and white chocolate (but it's much better to pour it over the finished yeast cakes).
Mix the crumble ingredients together until lumps form and sprinkle over the yeast cakes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (thermo) for about 20 minutes.

Ostatnio staram się urozmaicić to, co jem, dlatego dzisiaj zdecydowałam się na zrobienie drożdżówek. Zdały test smaku, więc przychodzę z obowiązkowym przepisem.
Składniki na 8 porcji:
CIASTO:
250 g mleka
100 g cukru
30 g pokruszonych, świeżych drożdży
2 jajka
500 g mąki pszennej
80 g masła (miękkiego, pokrojonego na kawałki)
szczypta soli
KRUSZONKA:
25 g mąki pszennej
25 g cukru
20 g masła (zimnego, pokrojonego na kawałki)
DO POSMAROWANIA DROŻDŻÓWEK:
2 łyżki mleka
1 białko jajka
DODATKI:
borówki
krem pistacjowy
biała czekolada
PRZEPIS:
Do miski wlej ciepłe mleko, po czym dodaj cukier, jajka oraz drożdże. Dokładnie wymieszaj. Dodaj mąkę, sól, masło i wyrób ciasto. Zostaw je do wyrośnięcia na 45 minut.
Wysyp trochę mąki na blat i natłuść ręce. Wyjmij ciasto z miski i podziel na 8 części. Pozostaw na około 25 minut do dalszego wyrośnięcia.
Wygnieć środek drożdżówek i posmaruj je białkiem z jajka wymieszanym z mlekiem.
Dodaj dodatki do drożdżówek. Ja dodałam krem pistacjowy, borówki i białą czekoladę (ale dużo lepiej jest polać nią gotowe drożdżówki).
Wymieszaj składniki na kruszonkę do uzyskania grudek i posyp nimi drożdżówki.
Piecz w nagrzanym do 180 stopni piekarniku (termoobieg) przez około 20 minut.
